MR TOS Enterprise - new pics

November?.?.?. Wow - I really doubt that. It seems there are many details on the master they are still working out. I still predict 2007.

Mentally I am prepared for well into 2007. The Tricorder took a dogs age to arrive.

Here are a couple of pictures of the MR Enterprise at the Las Vegas Trek convention.

Yeah, those are the Dinky E and BOP on the table.

Actually those are Corgi die casts, seems MR will be carrying them the same way they carry the Medicom products.

Anyone heard anything? All has gone quite on the Enterprise front from MR.

actually winter and 2006 is a pretty narrow window - like 10 days... Winter starts 12/21 I think and 2006 and ends 12/31 If they start shipping in that 10 day window I think that they have nailed thier projectsions pretty closely ;)

All is quiet... too quiet.... so... very... quiet.

All is good. The final pre-production sample was signed off on and production is underway. We met with the Trek cast and the plaques are nearly all signed, so things look good.

I'm not sure of the exact shipping dates, but they should start arriving in customer's hands this year unless there's a major snaffu.

Thanks for the post, Barry... it's probably a bit frustrating for you to keep posting essentially nothing, but every bit of news is one step closer to the dream... so thanks for it...

cheers,

No problem.

The most exciting thing for those of us working on the U.S.S. Enterprise project these past few weeks has been meeting with the crew of the Enterprise to snap their pics for the collateral, and getting their signatures on the plaques. It's been surreal but fun meeting the actors who brought such iconic characters to life.

This project has been an enjoyable one to have been involved with.

Preaching to the converted, my friend... being in an episode with Walter Koenig and another with George Takei... being part of the mythos, if only UNofficially... has been like having a dream, but realizing that it's real, instead of the other way around.

I still have trouble accepting it as real... at least until the episodes come out...

thanks for the love....

Quick reply... Koenig ASAP... the rough cut was shown in Seattle on te 8th of September for the 40th... but due to some behind the scenes FX issues, it had to be majorly tweaked.

Takei's episode JUST Finished shooting... maybe a shot or two in LA thie month, but the episode should be out in March '07....

teaser...

Will the Corgi merger effect labeling on the TOS E product?

The model itself or packaging and literature?

The model is packaged and labeled as a Master Replicas product, not a Corgi.

Cool, nothing against Corgi, but they are known for small diecast mostly.
