MR Fullsize Stormtrooper Helmet starting to ship ?

Hey guys, I logged into my account over at MR today to check on some info.. I noticed that it said the MR Stormie Helmet I ordered has a pending shipment status and that my credit card charges had been cleared.

Has anybody else seen this info. in their account or heard anything else about the shipping date on these?:love

They have started to ship today according to Amy. They wanted to match print numbers to helmet numbers so they matched.

It already has, but that was just making judgments based on pictures.

I'm not impressed with it. I'd rather spend less on an accurate ABS Hero helmet.

I doubt it will be critiqued much as everyone already critiqued it prior to buying it. It's a pretty product, but like everything else from MR, it has it's positives and negatives. I didn't get this one, but I sure am looking forward to seeing everyone else's

I'm excited for mine based on the latest set of pix....it looks like they've solved most of the shortcomings from the frightening first proto that Jez had posted awhile back. I'm looking forward to an idealized TK....I have enough wonky lids.

Is this the only full size stormtrooper helmet Master replicas is doing? Because Play.com has 1/1 scaled master replicas stormtrooper helmets for £59.99 Including shipping. That ship late December here: http://www.play.com/Gadgets/Gadgets...ized-Stormtrooper-Replica-Helmet/Product.html
Unfortunately as with most play.com items, they just put up any old picture, but...is this meant to be the same helmet?

Hi GD,

The one that Play.com has was a special done for the UK Market (although I think some are also due to go on sale in the US too). Its made from plastic and I got the impression it wasnt great. AFAIK no pics of it exist (or at least have been circulated)

Here's some pics of the "proper" MR one, this iss the 2nd prototype which had most the P1's faults rectified

i think a lot of collectors will be quite happy with it, it will just be us geeks that nit pic the hell out of it.

Got my helmet last night. I really like it. I'm not an expert on these by any means but it looks very well done to me. Lenses are a dark green shade. Got # 135. Cool print included too. The print is numbered the same edition number as the helmet. Some fairly quick pics below. Happy to have this in my collection! :cool
