So, in theory, I don’t think this would be very difficult. I picture getting a steel rod that fits into the neck tube (where the rod sticking out of the animatronic helmet goes), and stick a styrofoam half sphere on top. Obviously it wouldn’t move like the one it came with. Although I bet that it’s possible to “transfer” the mechanism inside to a different helmet, if one was set on it.I’m pretty happy with the helmet but I am curious how you would go about a swap out.
Do your parents still live in Solivita over in Poinciana? Remember I still live close, so I could always pick one up and drop it off at their place.Yep, that's the rub, ain't it.![]()
Gotcha. I didn’t know if you ever visit them, you could check it on the plane for the price of an extra bag. That is usually like $30-$50.Yes, they do... but still same problem as to how to get it here. Thanks for the offer to help though!
I’m speaking out of my butt…
I can tell you the box is huge! And heavy. The wife and I could barely lift it, both of us, to put it in the car. Ah, but we’re whimps. LOLGotcha. I didn’t know if you ever visit them, you could check it on the plane for the price of an extra bag. That is usually like $30-$50.
Ohhh solo Mia!
Oh, that would make checking on a plane hard. Unless he takes it out of the box and packed pieces across his luggage, lol. That would be rather humorous going through TSA X-ray.I can tell you the box is huge! And heavy. The wife and I could barely lift it, both of us, to put it in the car. Ah, but we’re whimps. LOL
We only have Costco unfortunately.I’m speaking out of my butt, but I assume Home Depot doesn’t live in Australia (or ifit does, it will eat you the second you walk in the doors!!!
