New to me Anovos Vader helmet.

Randomly found an Anovos fiberglass Vader helmet at my local collectible shop. Price seemed reasonable so I snagged it. As a bonus it came with a Master Replicas light up saber.
It has some damage but from 3 feet you really can’t tell. And I don’t care all that much. Again the price was reasonable so less than perfection should be expected.
The main thing is one of the tusks broke off. It was glued back in place but has a tiny piece missing. That same side of the helmet has cracking in the glossy black paint and there are scratches on the helmet in various places. All are fixable things, just not sure I am going to bother.
I will say one thing. It is a heavy helmet. I have put it on a few times and I am astounded as to the weight of it.

Wicked find! If the tusk bothers you, you could always go with a replica to replace

Anovos made a fiberglass ROTJ reveal-style helmet? I thought they only made the ANH Limited/Legend in fiberglass.

I guess I missed this one when it was released.

I am unaware of a anovos fiberglass as well, and I’m pretty sure efx only did fiberglass ANH helmets

That's correct, it was efx that did the ANH helmet :) . The Anovos is more of a standardized/ESB Vader. At one point I think they announced a complete Vader costume but I *think* the helmet was the only part that made it to market.

Excellent score!

THAT’S RIGHT!! I do remember the Anovos ESB Vader costume. It was pretty good except the capes were really short, possibly for safety/liability reasons.

Good score indeed.

The complete costumes were made. Originally they offered a deluxe and standard version. Standard was pleather and polyester but the deluxe was leather and wool. The hard parts were the same. I think only the standard made it out. I got just the hard parts and they were fantastic.

Disneyland used to have a set with the helmet on display at the launch bay when it was opens. I truthfully don't know if they ever released the full suit.
Thanks everyone. I appreciate people liking it. I have it sitting on the chair behind me as I type this since we are waiting for our house to get finished. It will be done in the next few weeks and I will get it put on display.
