MR FALCON-Meet the Project Mngr and his two helpers!

Absolutely bloody incredible.
My hat's doffed to all involved in this landmark project, for their dedication to detail and quality.

I cannot wait to see the finished product.

Howard.

I knew it was going to be good...but this blows me out of the water...it is unbelievably amazing....

The cockpit and blue engine vent thingy look fantastic...actually no, the whole thing looks phenomenal...truely a piece of art. Can't wait to see more pics.

bump?

I'm really worried that the workers over in Asia are going to have a tough time replicating that quality. Can't wait to see how his paint job on the MR one is going to turn out.

Wow. The little switches in the center console are amazing. Those are smaller than the size of a pin.

Cost be damned, I will own one of these.

My god those picts are awesome.

Wish I had a few thousand to spare.

So many thoughts and emotions words fail me... RARELY do I come across a model - let alone a completed replica that I feel that I couldn't build better... The Years Frank and Moe have devoted into the details have got me beat and I'm bordering on obsessive with the falcon... I'm throwing my stuff out and getting this ... even if it causes a divorce... :eek

Yes. When should we expect this to be for sale?

I can't tell you when it's going up for sale, but I suspect it'll be sooner rather than later. It's hoped they'll ship before year end. That's the plan. Of course thing can change, but so far so good.

Is it possible to get a pic of it with something for scale? I know it's huge but in the pic with the FM falcon, it's difficult to tell without having a FM one. Even if I know the size, still hard to actually picture just how big everything is.

I'll see what I can do. There is a pic I shot of the Falcon alongside the body of the AT-AT. Useless I know if you don't know how big the AT-AT is.

It's 32" long front to back and approx 24" diameter across the domed hull.

Would there be any chance of re-posting the first picture on the thread, but not washed out?

That picture gives a good indication of scale.

Thanks
Lance

I just realized a possible problem with Non-US residents and the lightning of the Falcon.
How will it be powered ? With batteries or with a plug ?
We have other powersockets and other amperage (US 110, Europe 220) here in Europe.
I know that there are adapters here but i don't know if these could damage the Falcon in the long run.

I don't think one should be too worried about this... then again you just know someone would be dense enough to spend several thousand on the falcon and then go out and buy a cheep non-fuzed power converter if it does in fact plug into the wall, hehe. MR might have thought of this so I can see them going the battery route to cut something like this before it even happened.

Question Barry.... do you have any pics of the bottom of the ship? How will screw holes and the lighting be handled??

I guess through the mounting pole (if there is one).
Btw. i would prefer batteries too (don't like cables all around ;-))
