MR FALCON-Meet the Project Mngr and his two helpers!

Every time I hear about this item, (and now seeing pics), I can't wipe the grin from my face. I'm planning a MAJOR prop and toy sell very soon just to make DARN sure I have plenty of cash in place once these are offered.

Out of everything that MR has offered up to this point, (and potentially anything they can offer down the road for that matter), this is one I have GOT to have..

Thanks so much for these pics Barry.

Quick question - will all of the "yellow" resin parts be applied individually on the customer versions or will a lot more of them be molded "onto" the hull?

Either way, I can't wait for this thing.

I second, third, and fourth that.

THANK YOU BARRY.

Hey there Chris,

The yellow parts you see on the hull of the Falcon will be injection molded pieces on the production pieces. The final model will come assembled, except perhaps for the radar dish, and fully painted. What you're seeing here is the first engineering prototype which will soon be shipped off to be painted.

It is amazing, I just hope that they can paint and weather such a monstrous piece accurately to do it justice like the screen used model given how beautiful the physical detail is.

And no one has given a rough estimate yet on price, is there any figure that's been tossed out yet?

There are still a couple of things in play that will determine the final pricing on this piece. So, sorry I can't provide you with the answer on that. All I can say is that it's not as high as some have speculated and not as cheap either :)

So hopefully no higher than $3,000? That's the high end figure I've seen.

Thanks for the response anyway.

Barry....please... please.... PLEASE... consider offering an acrylic display case as an option for those who want to spend the extra money for one. Spending a few hundred dollars for a display case to protect an item as fragile and detailed as the Falcon is a worth it in my book, and I think the majority of collectors would want one for this model...

Thanks for all the pictures and advance intel, Barry. :thumbsup

My first thought when I saw the Falcon prototype beside the AT-AT hull was, "The Falcon is HUGE." :love

My second thought when I saw the Falcon prototype beside the AT-AT hull was, "The Falcon is HUGE." :cry

MR's price for shipping the AT-AT to Japan via FedEx exceeds US $600.00. I can only guess what it will cost to ship the must-have Falcon... :confused

Strength fading... cannot resist... must... buy... :D

Yes , thanks so much for these pics.

Amongs must have this is THE must have, I just hope MR would do something for us, overseas ubber collectors, regarding shipping cost.

Agreed..

Also will the model come with lights?

You know. Between this and the Enterprise I can see my wife throwing a complete hissy fit...

I don't think I'll tell her I'm buying them till they show up.

:lol
Mine already said yes to the Falcon. :p

She thinks we're not quite big enough Trek fans to warrant a 3' ship, though... :unsure

Remember, you traded for them. "Remember all that stuff I got rid of a while back, honey?" ;)
