Movie/TV Knife thread - NO swords

my three movie knives , first is the terminator 2 knife , then jack burtons gerber tac 2 from big trouble in little china , and the last is the dusk till dawn knife , the one that sticks tarintino to the table , of course the burton and dusk knives are just a quinkidink were as the terminator was made after the movie

I don't have a pic of it, but I did love the double sided blade that Lou Diamond Phillips used in Young Guns II; where he has the knife fight with Christian Slater in the burial ground..

But a few others: Faith's dagger in Buffy..

Chavez's knife was the one I was talking about.. Wasn't a Bowie that I remember.. Arkansas Dave Rudabaugh's was, it was the Indian Bone one he shoved into Chavez's forearm.. The one I like was Chavez's.. The small double ended style.. The one I'd love was kinda like this, best pic I can find of something close to it..

This doesn't compare to it.. Kind of a spiral or S shape.. Either ends were facing opposite ways.. Was slick and fast..

When I was 14 I met Jack Crain who made all the knives in 'Predator', 'Commando', 'Die Hard' etc. etc.
He was a really nice, down to earth guy and we chatted back and forth for years. Whenever I had questions about knifemaking I'd always call him. At one point I owned 3 of his knives. He's another one who's not making knives anymore but gave us some of the most legendary knives in movie history with the 'Predator' machete and the 'Life Support System' knives.

I have two of Jack's one is the Predator machete, the other is the Battle Baton used in the T.V. series War of the Worlds.

What a shame he started scamming people and shot his reputation all to hell. :unsure

One of my favorite knives is used by Xena. I own one of the metal "hero" versions Lucy Lawless used on set...it is a very cool knife...or dagger i guess?

That one is cool but i was refering to the one he uses in the first movie. It was a bowie with rings on the guard so he could spin it.

My favourite knife has to be the Klingon D'k tagh. The version first seen with the spring loaded side-blades in Star Trek III. United Cutlery's version is ok, but I dislike the black handle and the pommel shape.

I would go with

1.The knife that Deborah Unger uses in Highlander 3.She stabbes a coffee creamer and blood comes out.Made by Jose deBraga.

2.Valerias dagger from Conan. It is in a lot of scenes and would make a unique addition to a Conan collection.

3.Subotai's monkey paw climbing knives. Not seen on screen, scene was cut, but cool none the less.

Sylvester Stallone commissioned this knife from knife maker Herman Schneider for the movie COBRA. The knife was used by the evil "Night Slasher" character.:eek
