Hey Quake!

I thought Id share some pics of my parts I made a year ago

The masks were originally by Vagabond by I unfolded them again. The arms and shins on both Sub Zero and Scorpion were modelled, unfolded etc. by myself - I went for the more traditional look on these hehe.

I used Automative paint on all the armor. The Blue is actually a metallic Mica (In person, you can see it sparkle in the sun ).

In the gaps in both masks I got som e flyscreen (2 layers, crisscrossed the pattern), sprayed it silver, and but it in there so it looks like mesh.

Also glued some foam inside so there is no stabbing to the face xD

And here is the pic of our group from Supanova Brisbane 2011 (start of this year).

Sub Zero armor was a commision, Kitana's fans were free *thats my Cosplay Team partner and very pretty girlfriend!*

This was the second ever Cosplay/Costume/props etc. Project I ever did, so Im pretty happy it all worked out AOK!

Those are some awesome looking costumes bro!! I have a build thread for the Smoke MK9 costume I'm making for Halloween in the Costume Forum. That's some nice base coat/clear coat work you on those armor pieces. looks like it worked out great! I need to get my fiance' in a sexy MK9 costume. She'd do it no doubt(psst...my fiance' is a modellove... rpf member "punisher" can confirm )

My girlfriend got Me into costuming xD

these were the second thing / project ive ever made, im onto my third project now (I come from an audio background, and havent done 'real / solid' things before, only sound lol)

Currently working on Mass effect 2 stuff. Got my latex head finished (should update that profile pic cos that was early painting stage). Working on 2 guns now, and two shoulder armor pieces.

I Worked to a deadline with the MK stuff, i could still smell the fumes on my scorpion mask at the con xD oh well ^^; lol

we cut it close to the entry deadline, so our outfits in the video are about 80% done. everything will be ready for the day hehehe.

Yes, back on to topic! I got an email today from UPS and the molding supplies will be here on thurs the 28th.:ninja so depending on what time of day UPS shows up I'll be molding Noob and Smoke thursday or friday.:thumbsup

hi anyone here have the .PDO files of the mortal kombat ninja/cyborgs masks/helmets?, i`ve been some time looking for it and is very hard find them in the web beacuse all that ptoblem with megaupload.

I'd say mold that thing first before you turn it into a functional dust mask. I think you'd make some mortal kombat costumers happy. I would if I did

How would you mold A mk mask that's made out of clay and on an armature??
