Hey y'all! What I'm working on at the moment can be considered just something I don't like. Here's a couple pictures of the engine parts all strapped into place where they would be if straight out of the box.

Stock:

I don't care for that look? There is a much larger gap between the top and bottom of that engine section on the filming model.

Now, I'm working at giving this area of the kit, a slightly wider gap than shown in the first pictures of the stock kit I just posted. To be fair, this part is just on my own and can't be claimed that there is something wrong with the kit itself because the pieces fit together (as seen) well. This mod, so far just from the little I've done to get that gap, will require several of these pieces to be modified.

That's where I'm at.

I do NOT use bubble gum unless I absolutely need it. You do realize times is tough, right? Now, maybe YOU got all kindsa extra bubble gum moneys, but we around the Hobby household don't gots that.

Pro-tip: You can often find prechewed gum on the underside of public chairs and tables.

True! I generally gather as much of that as I can (park benches are great places too). Just 5 minutes of chewing and it's right back to useable and becomes a consistent and uniform color.

Okie dokie! This time, I see what I'm thinking looks better? Now, there's still alot to do and this really is being barely held together WITH gum and the same old rubber band, but I wanted to show some pictures and get some critique. Everything to do with all those engine pieces has been modified in some way and I'm gonna somehow, add those tank treads we can see all up een nair.

Ok, a serious question... No joking or jokes. I mean it. I ain't playin' around here. There is a time and a place for playin' and this ain't it. Y'all probably think, "He ain't serious and we can play if we want to", but you would be wrong. Try and see. There will be consequences and repercussions. (Tough soundin'? I'm tryin' to sound tough? Just practicin'. I gotta ask the Wife for permission for somethin' later, so I figured I'd get warmed up!)

Personally, I like it with the gap, BUT, I may need to make it just a little wider and it may be too much? And now, finally, the question. Does it look alright to y'all right now? It shouldn't be THAT big a gap and it seems alright right now, but I need to go just a little wider.

After reading that back, it's a sounds like a stupid question, I know, but I'm doing all this for Y'ALL, not me, so opinions matter even if size don't.

Agreed moonbus! If I do, it'll be slight. The reason I may need to do it is that edge along the bottom of the gap just above those fuel tank/bomb halves. See how on the original they overlap that edge? That's all I may need to do.

A CREDIT CARD???? Ok, from all of these posts I've made already, point me to the one YOU think would convince someone to give me a credit card. I'll need a print out of that when I go back to Sears. OK! WAIT!!! Is a credit card the same size as a Walmart gift card? I found one of them on the side of the road. They didn't WANT me to find it, but I did.

I'm afraid that "gap" is quite different on the filming model going from port to starboard. . .
