Mini Ripley from Aliens

Well, Fluffy (My Xeno suit) is almost finished. I'll be starting a new thread once I've had the photoshoot! My 11 year old daughter has decided she would like to accompany me as Ripley, so this thread will show the progress of her costume as I make it/put it together. I've started with the stompers. Ok, they're a bit quick and dirty, but I'm on a strict timetable and cash budget!

Next up will be the pulse rifle (completely out of foam as I've been let down TWICE by various airsoft suppliers for the Spas 12) . I'm not going to make the flamer as I simply don't have the time!

I actually am about to do some quick and dirty stompers for my brother's wife. I'd love to see more about the construction. They look pretty good. All foam on top of the base sneakers?

Thanks mate! Yep, pretty much it. Foam on top of the trainers and a couple of hours with a glue gun. I did them fast, so I only got a couple of shots unfortunately. Yeah, I know some of the red detail is missing, but hey ho! I do have some heavier duty velcro on it's way though.
