Metal Blade Runner PKD Blaster Build

Hey all sorry for the radio silence, its been a busy few months and I haven't had the time to work on the kit until last week. So finally here is a progress update!

I needed to experiment with some mould making as I was struggling with getting good casts of the bulldog frame but I think I have finally nailed it!

So the biggest problem with this part was the inside, and getting a clean pull without too many lines. Well it turns out that this part will just about fit in the spin caster so I got to work casting the middle with regular heat resistant silicone.

I used Smooth On Mold Star 30. Its fairly soft so I needed to add in the rods to hold its shape for when its in the caster.

I also did the Outer Grip frame and Rear Bolt again as the last ones although ok were not quite right. plus a couple of Witcher pendants to fill the space :p

Now for clean up, look how crisp the numbers are now! compare that to the last attempt earlier in this thread

I will need to drill out all the screw holes and barrel hole later.

I didn't sand them just a quick polish on the wheel. there is some surface pitting but its not much at all, a good sand a clean up and I think they will be smooth as butter.

Here it all is, only the bolt and Styer to go!

So glad you combined the two parts into a singular piece for this. And I noticed the addition of the cylinder stud hole on the Bulldog main frame. Nice one!

Waiting to see if you modified the inner Bulldog grip frame to accommodate the mainspring + rod.

Yeah seen quite a few people mention this so I figured now is the time to remove that problem

Also here is the solution to the inner grip, not quite the same as what you pictured but there is a hole for a rod
