I agree. I'd much rather have one 100% accurate than an FX version any day. (until they come out with real lightsabers that is)

I watched a YouTube video that said the masses are complaining about the lightsabers being to expensive at $200.
They don't realize, even if the quality doesn't match the price, that $200 in the saber community only gets you an empty hilt.
People need to quit thinking that star wars stuff is nothing but cheap toys that can be found at 5 and dime stores.
I learned my lesson, don't tell any customers at work what I've spent on Vader. One lady looked at me like I needed to be committed to a hospital.
Star wars merch is about more then cheap plastic toys to a lot of us and people can't seem to grasp that.

I am very sad to see that the Leia ceremonial necklace is not a cheap replica. It must be made of some better quality materials since it is $2000.

Wow yeah looking at the prices and what you said, its easy now to see. the 40 dollar sabers are the ones meant to be toys, and the hilts are actually collector grade. So the ones about 200 are actually pretty reasonably priced considering.

$200 for a custom Disney exclusive saber with the install, removable blade and for once movie specific sound font for the legacy(Kylo, Vader and Luke does, Rey for some reason used the generic ultimate fx font) is cheap. I know it adds up when you pay to get there, get in and for food and hotel room but there is so much merch Disney cant afford to discount it all just because a few think it's outrageous.
Hell I wish my installed LDM V2 was only $200. And from what I have seen the legacy sabers seem to be a slight improvement over the Hasbro/MR Force FXs. The light up sequence on the Legacy Luke recently posted here has the smoothest and quickest led to led transition I've seen in a long time. And even though it still utilizes the fat neck still it looks so much better in finish and over all look. The neck is more proportional compared to the Hasbro/MR design for being the fat neck.

I might just get the display version because the legacy hilts average at about $100-140 and for a thin neck Luke with that nice of a finish that is a steal. Fan made empty Hilts are $200 at the very least.
I guess I can say Kudos for Disney at least offering some version of the thin neck. This is new for licensed FX offerings. They did take a step in the right direction.

I went to Disneys shop website to look at their Galaxy's edge merch offering but could not find it. How did you get to it?

Type in "an19" in the search. Plus, are you using the shop park app or the disney store app? Because you have to use the shop park app on the phone.
