Merchandise and props you can buy at Disney’s upcoming Galaxy’s Edge attraction.

Yes. Plus, I teied the code on the new app and it doesn't work.

Well dang. I don't think it's fair for every piece of Galaxys edge merch to only be available to purchase in the parks. Not everyone has the means to go. It's extremely expensive. I'm saving up for a trip but I'm talking a few years worth of saving up.

I got an invite to Galaxy’s Edge for this coming Tuesday. Anyone need an item? $25 over the cost of the item & shipping plus PayPal fees and I’ll pick it up and ship it to you! PM me, hope this is ok to offer since most of us aren’t in Southern California...

Is the $25 per item or $25 for all items that you woukd be picking for said individual? Like a handily fee.

I feel $25 per item would be unfair on top of PayPal fees.

I never understood why sellers make the buyer eat the fees. PayPal is feeing the one using PayPal services to run their business. It should not be on the buyer. But this is off topic. Lol.

The one thing I am the most curious about, is how much will the deck of Sabacc cards cost? And also, can anybody pick up a deck and resell them to me without making a profit that will put your kids through college?

I’d love to be able to surprise my girlfriend with a Loth Cat plush if anyone could help a brother out

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge doesn’t just want to look like a movie set. It wants guests to feel like they just stepped off a transport ship onto a planet thousands of galaxies away.
Disney’s newest theme park extension opens in Anaheim, California Friday and fans aren’t the only ones getting into the spirit of “Star Wars.”

To ensure a truly immersive experience on the planet Batuu, Disney has enlisted its finest cast members — some 1,400 employees — to imbue the thriving port with life.

Those tasked with manning the merchant stalls, secret workshops and cantinas have been encouraged to develop their own unique identities, including mannerisms, intricate backstories and their appearance.
”‘Star Wars’ is an immensely popular property and giving people who visit our parks, who have thought about visiting our parks, a chance to immerse themselves in ‘Star Wars’ on a grand scale in a much deeper way is a big deal,” CEO Bob Iger said on Wednesday during an interview with on CNBC’s Julia Boorstin on “Closing Bell.”
Walt Disney Imagineering spent three years developing the costumes for its cast — and uniforms aren’t one size fits all. The team designed the wardrobe to be modular, allowing cast members to pick and choose from a variety of different clothing, including tunics, wraps and vests, to create their own signature look.

“Our cast are going to bring Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to life in new ways,” Cory Rouse, creative director at Walt Disney Imagineering, said in a statement. “When they step into the land each day, ready to be among our guests, they are going to feel like they are actually from the planet Batuu. They live there; they work on Batuu. And as inhabitants of Batuu, they get to really showcase their personalities, whether it’s being sympathetic to the First Order or yearning to find their way to the Resistance.”
Cast members are also allowed to augment their base costume with necklaces, scarves and hats to make their character truly one of a kind. Each cast member will also have a special nametag with their name translated into Aurebesh, the written language in “Star Wars.”

Imagineers visited George Lucas’ private archives and traveled to Morocco and Turkey for inspiration when designing Batuu. The goal was to create a space that was grounded in some reality, but with touches of otherworldly charm.
“I think grown men are going to cry,” Margaret Kerrison, managing story editor at Walt Disney Imagineering, said in a statement. “I think people are going to fall to their knees and start kissing the ground. All these things sound like an exaggeration, but I feel like it’s going to happen.”

Yeah, but then the stuff they put online would constantly be out of stock in the park. Eventually, some stuff may end up on there, but imagine it will be pretty limited and not for a long time until the initial rush dies down.

okay have a few questions
for you prop accurate guys, how accurate are the lightsabers, Yoda cane/flashlight, jedi gear set or all lifesize items?
Are all items only sold at the Galaxy DL store?
are these pieces limited number or DL will just keep restocking when items is sold out? (DL wants to make money I suspect they are going to over stock on lots of items)

That being said
DL store has lots of awesome pieces, from the small creatures to the life Yoda cane to the lighsabers
And the prices seem very fair for some amazing looking pieces and there lots of cool pieces I want
and I live about 3-4 hours north from LA and maybe in the fall I might make a trip just for the SW DL. leave early, stay all day at DL then come back home at night. Gas and admission is all I waste

But stores have been able to sell exclusives items in retails stores and online. wither its Target, Walmart or toysrus and so on
Of course I understand Galaxy store at Disney Land coms first.
Then make the online pieces limited and restock if their is unsold overstock from the store
So, I think online can be done

One thing I've wondered before is where the heck to people get all of their spare model kit pieces for greeblies? I can't remember a time where I've had many pieces left over from a model kit that I've built. :p

I think they buy model sets for the purpose of kit bashing. Not to build a model and then have extra pieces.

Im surprised the article listing all the items available at Black Spire Outfitters/that rare antiquities trading post for Galaxys edge hasnt come out yet. Thats probably my most anticipated shop.

The only things I saw that I would really want are the Sith statues (really 17 years to get to those?!) and the Jedi statues. I have zero desire to go to Disney parks. I never even wanted to go as a kid!

Walmart and Target stock on a completely different scale than Disney does. They make lots of merchandise only available in the parks because they can barely keep them in stock in the parks as it is, especially for popular ride march like Haunted Mansion stuff. It would be nice if they sold online, but they aren't going to sell most of the stuff from Galaxy's Edge that way because they want to keep the exclusivity of it. They want you to go to the parks to spend the money. Like I said, it's possible you start seeing some stuff eventually, but it won't be for a while.

Anyway. I'm going to WDW in October and I can't wait. I've started a spreadsheet with the pricing of all of the things I want so I have a good idea what I need to bring for just this, haha.

A review of the Kowakian Monkey Lizard (Salacious B. Crumb). Looks surprisingly good.
$70. Looks like the head and mouth is wire-controlled, with sound effect (can be turned off).

BTW. What is the blue version from?

Sorry if this has already been covered, but does anyone know if the Legacy sabers are just repackaged Disney Parks as sabers or new pieces entirely?
