Merchandise and props you can buy at Disney’s upcoming Galaxy’s Edge attraction.

VIDEO: Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Merchandise Will Be Available Outside of Land, Merchandise Lineups Start at 2:00 AM on May 31st
May 20, 2019
Disney has just released more information on Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge merchandise availability, including places outside of the land where you can purchase Limited Edition commemorative merchandise:
Remember, guests who want to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge from May 31 to June 23 will need valid theme park admission and a no-cost reservation to visit the land. There is no standby line to get into the land. General reservations are not available at this time on Disneyland.com; you can still get a Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge reservation by staying at one of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels during that time period. Once you have your reservation, there is no need to arrive early and line up. You may check in two hours prior to your reservation start time.
Merchandise will also be available for those without a Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge reservation.
If it’s unique, must-have items you’re after, head over to Tomorrowland in Disneyland park to the upper level of Star Wars Launch Bay. No matter your affiliation, you’ll find a curated assortment of Limited Edition, Limited Release, and Annual Passport pins; along with a variety of other items you don’t want to miss!
Looking for items celebrating Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge? You can find these items at the Emporium, the upper level of Star Wars Launch Bay, Star Trader, and Pooh Corner in Disneyland park; Elias & Co. in Disney California Adventurepark; World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District; and shops at the Disneyland Hotel. Be sure to grab these items as they cannot be found on the planet Batuu.
If you’re looking for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Opening Day dated merchandise, including AP items, Disneyland park is your destination, only while supplies last. For the best selection, visit the Emporium, the upper level of Star Wars Launch Bay, Star Trader, or Pooh Corner.
Annual Passholders: Additional AP items can be found at the Emporium, the upper level of Star Wars Launch Bay, Star Trader, and Pooh Corner in Disneyland park; Elias & Co. and Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure park; World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District; and shops at the Disneyland Hotel.
If you can’t wait to get your mementos, please know that line ups for merchandise start no earlier than 2 a.m. on May 31; parking opens at midnight. All merchandise is subject to availability, while supplies last.
Disney Ambassador Justin Rapp explains more in this latest “Know Before You Go” episode:

Those are pretty decent prices. I wouldn't have much interest in a blade.

You are like me, i’m More of a static hilt collector. But the cool thing is that the blades are interchangeable and the colors are determined by the hilt. So if you end up buying multi hilts and you think it might be cool to ignite them from time to time, you can just buy one blade. That’s what I’ll probably end up doing.

With Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge previews underway, various Cast Members and social media influencers have been able to snag a sneak peek inside the land, including tours of Oga’s Cantina and more. Instagram user @sabrinalizette_ of Everythingdisney55 took to social media with photos of the ultimate stowaway: a sweet little Oga’s Cantina coaster!

One side of the coaster features a cute Ewok figure drinking out of a chalice.

The other side features a cocktail with the stylized words “Oga’s Cantina” in the outline of the coaster.
Her post caption reveals even more to be excited about inside the land (and the cantina!) Two exclusive new mugs will be released: an Endor mug priced at $42.00 and a Porg mug priced at $32.00. Check out her stories for a sneak preview of the cups that will be used for fountain beverages in the land!
Despite all the big-ticket merchandise that will be available at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, there’s something extra special about coasters designed just for the land, making them an easy (and inexpensive) souvenir to bring home and collect.

Specialty Coca-Cola Products

Just because you’re in a galaxy far, far away doesn’t mean you have to go without the refreshing taste of Coca-Cola products. Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Sprite, and Dasani bottled water will all be available at Kat Saka’s Kettle. As we learned at Star Wars Celebration Chicago, these products will be sold in specially-designed bottles to fit in with the theme of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Each logo has been re-written in Aurebesh, a language used throughout the Star Wars saga.
If that weren’t enough, Disney produced a special commercial specifically for the new bottles!

If all this talk is making you thirsty, we do have a word of caution: please be advised that specialty bottles are limited to a total of three (3) per person per transaction.
Please note that Kat Saka’s Kettle will not feature Mobile Ordering when it opens. Annual Passholder discounts are also not available at this location.

That is a really cool feature. I'm looking forward to going and checking out everything although I wont be one of the first ones there.

Here's a video that goes into a little more detail about the build your lightsaber experience. There's going to be 4 themes to choose from, each theme will have its own set of parts to choose from. Final price will be $199 (no AP discounts) and will include a pin, a case, and (I think) a bag.

Sure, we’ve all seen bits of merchandise show up on social media in the days following Cast Member previews at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, but there’s this other corner of the internet that’s also quietly getting populated, and that’s the resale market.
Some of the merchandise we’ve already seen, like droid headbands and even a specially-designed Dasani bottle, are already posted for sale across sites like eBay… which leads us to this fascinating discovery:
na-menu-and-coasters-ebay-leak-may-2019_3-943x1200.jpg

Yup, that’s the actual menu for Oga’s Cantina. Before we delve in to the actual items, let’s appreciate it for what it is. The Oga’s Cantina menu has clearly seen better days, with weathering and jagged edges added for themeing. As far as themed souvenir mugs go, there’s the Porg option we mentioned earlier, which comes with the non-alcoholic Cliff Dweller drink for $32.00.
Below, you’ll see the epic Endor Mug, which has a decidedly tiki-esque look to it, with earthen elements from the Forest Moon. It’s served with the Yub Nub cocktail for $42.00. You can also get a glimpse at how other beverages and snacks are plated and served, with the Fuzzy Tauntaun drink served with a heaping mound of foam, the Blue Bantha Milk topped with a cookie, and a petri-dish filled with popping pearls as Oga’s Obsession.

Another fascinating discovery is this Rancor beer flight souvenir board with four teeth as beer tasting chalices for $75.00. It comes with a sampling of beers. (I thought I needed the Porg mug, but I really just need this.)

New coasters were also unveiled as part of the listing, with the one on the left coinciding with the Oga’s Cantina coaster we’d already seen earlier, but the one on the right being a new-to-us design. Who knows how many more designs they have? It’ll be fun to collect them all.

PHOTOS: Play Disney Parks App Updated, Datapad Experience Now Activated for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

While many details have been released about the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Galactic Datapad within the Play Disney Parks, beyond a cute little interactive map, there isn’t much we’ve been able to do on there… until now.
GALACTIC-DATAPAD-VERSION.jpg

A recent update to the app has added the full Star Wars: Datapad experience, as well as an in-queue experience for the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run attraction.
datapad-star-wars-galaxys-edge-may-2019_1-675x1200.jpg

If you take a look at the map, you can see a new “New Game!” bubble pop up as you peruse the land.
datapad-star-wars-galaxys-edge-may-2019_2-675x1200.jpg

Clicking through will lead you to the Star Wars: Datapad page, where you can play with up to 5 friends linked on your My Disney Experience profile. And speaking of profiles…
datapad-star-wars-galaxys-edge-may-2019_3-675x1200.jpg
It me.
You can now access your Datapad profile from the app! As someone who’s never even used much of the Play Disney Parks app, this alone blew me away. There are so many little details, and while certainly busy, the interface feels really immersive.
star-wars-galaxys-edge-may-2019-equipment-675x1200.jpg

From your profile, you can scroll down to various drop-down menus, starting with Equipment, which includes a selection of outfits, weapons, cargo, and parts and scraps to choose from to customize your experience. Within the outfits section, you can choose what side you want to be on, be it Rebel pilot, scavenger, undercover Jedi, or even a Cloud-Rider pirate like Enfys Nest. As the app guides you along, you’ll have the chance to pledge your loyalty to the First Order, support the Resistance, or strike out on your own as a scoundrel.
Weapons include Rey’s NN-14 blaster pistol, Chewbacca’s Bowcaster, and much more. You can discover these digital goods as you scan objects all around the spaceport—including items hidden inside space-shipping crates and containers.
datapad-star-wars-galaxys-edge-may-2019_5-675x1200.jpg

Moving on to Star Maps, these refer to areas within the galaxy, including the Interior, New Territories, and Western Reaches, which is where a planet like Jakku would be located.
datapad-star-wars-galaxys-edge-may-2019_6-675x1200.jpg

The Schematics section includes your choice of ships, from the Millennium Falcon to Luke’s X-34 landspeeder. With each job you complete, you’ll receive digital rewards like ship schematics, star maps, and in-game galactic credits.
datapad-star-wars-galaxys-edge-may-2019_7-675x1200.jpg

Droid Data will apparently house various memories of various astromech droids. You can use the Play Disney Parks app to hack into the land’s many devices, control panels, and droids. The app allows visitors to engage with some of the full-scale droids rolling around the village, which will help them learn more about the word on the street and who is looking for help. (Do keep in mind, however, that these roaming droids may not be out in the land until much later, due to the immense number of crowds that are expected to befall upon Black Spire.)
datapad-star-wars-galaxys-edge-may-2019_8-675x1200.jpg

Under the Transmissions section, you can tune into communications sent by the planet’s many residents to uncover stories and secrets throughout the land, including Life in the Outpost, Dok’s Den Dealings, and Debts to Oga. You can also unscramble transmissions being sent from far, far away.
datapad-star-wars-galaxys-edge-may-2019_9-675x1200.jpg

It also appears you can earn a variety of titles within the land. There will be points and rewards for completing tasks, adding heft to your digital Star Wars profile.
atapad-star-wars-galaxys-edge-may-2019_10-675x1200.jpg

If you’re running low on juice (no, not Meiloorun juice) and want to save on battery power, there’s a handy Power Saver mode on the Datapad that turns off some of the weathered digital effects on the screen. It also makes it easier to see, if you’re looking for a cleaner app look.
atapad-star-wars-galaxys-edge-may-2019_11-675x1200.jpg
A view of the Datapad in Power Save mode.
Datapad features like Map, Jobs, and Tools are only activated with location tracking once you’re actually in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, so we’ll have to wait and see what those are like until the actual opening, but until then, I’m happy pointlessly tinkering around with my Free Agent profile.
Download the Play Disney Parks app today and take a look at your very own Star Wars: Datapad profile!

Note that the reports states: While all guests are encouraged to Disneybound for their visit to Galaxy’s Edge, costumes are not permitted for guests over the age of 14. Masks, robes, and other clothing items that drag on the ground are also not permitted.

These will prove to be essential on your next intergalactic voyage to Batuu, regardless of what coast you’re on. As we publish more of these pages, we will be populating them into a bookmark library, so stay tuned, and make sure you pull on those yellow straps!

Everything You Need to Know: Black Spire Outfitters
After traveling to a galaxy far, far away, you may be in need of some new clothes. Look through a variety of fashionable, yet practical styles fit for any traveler as you make your way through the cosmos.

black-spire-outfitters-concept-art.png

WHERE: Black Spire Marketplace
Tucked away within the Merchant Row district, Black Spire Outfitters is the place to outfit yourself the latest threads from across the galaxy!

merchant-row-star-wars-galaxys-edge.png

Whether you’re going undercover as a handmaiden, stocking up on new Jedi robes after completing building your lightsaber with the Gatherers over at Savi’s Workshop, or simply looking to blend in with the locals, Black Spire Outfitters has you covered. Whatever you’re looking for (or whatever side you’re on,) you’ll be able to find your perfect outfit!

WHAT: “The outfits that you’re looking for.”
Yes, the Black Spire Outfitters will be selling outfits, as the name suggests. Let’s take a look at what outfits you may find within.

black-spire-outfitters-1098x1200.jpg

If you’re looking for something casual, check out this hooded cloak and accessory belt. This is perfect for traveling and is great for accessibility. We may recommend keeping your valuables or Lightsaber a bit closer to you since it might be more visible than your traditional robe. Though this cloak may make the famous cloak wearing crusader, Lando Calrissian, envious if you style it just right.

black-spire-outfitters-outfits2-1036x1200.jpg

Maybe you’re channeling our new favorite Jedi, Rey, with this outfit, similar to what she wears to Ahch-To when finding Luke Skywalker. This belt includes a place for you to securely clip on your lightsaber hilt as you make your way through your own adventures. Adorable kids Sith outfits will also be available.

black-spire-outfitters-cloak-1072x1200.jpg

If you want to channel your inner Sith, look no further than this full ensemble.

black-spire-outfitters-outfits-1044x1200.jpg

Here we have more of the traditional Jedi outfits that we’re accustomed to seeing. The neutral browns and tans are similar to what Obi-Wan Kenobi has worn throughout the Star Wars Saga. Maybe you’ve got a Youngling that prefers Rey’s outfit, similar to the tan outfit she wore back on Jakuu, then later updated with the grey color scheme that she adapted later on during The Last Jedi.

Reports online state that all these pieces will be sold separately, so you can mix and match pieces and accessories. While all guests are encouraged to Disneybound for their visit to Galaxy’s Edge, costumes are not permitted for guests over the age of 14. Masks, robes, and other clothing items that drag on the ground are also not permitted.

Are you a fan of these outfits, fit for any occasion you may stumble across in your adventures? Do you think cloaks and capes should make a fashion comeback all across the galaxy?
