Got my res for June 4th. Gonna be nuts.
So MJF, were you able to reserve tickets for opening weekend?!
I'm going to WDW in October and they just announced 6am to 9am extra magic hours every day for Hollywood Studios for September and October...wonder how much before 6 people will be lining up to get in.
I live 15 min away from Hollywood studios but I went ahead and made an Aug28 reservation at the Disney Boardwalk villas which is located in between Epcot and HS...its a 10 minute walk to the front gate of HS.
Gonna see if I can get to the front gate at 5:00 or 5:30. (Ugggh)
Dont think the main parking lot for HS will open before 6am which means as a hotel
Guest Ill have an advantage of walking there and simply camping at their front gate before the main parking lot allows guests in.
Ill have to find out exactly time the main HS lot opens though.
That’s awesome. I have a friend who booked Boardwalk for that weekend too. I tried to rent points for there for my trip, but nothing was available at the time so I’m at Old Key West.
You already asked me this question two days ago ...
Merchandise and props you can buy at Disney’s upcoming Galaxy’s Edge attraction.
I’m getting old buddy lol. I have only been to Disney twice, 2002 and 2004. My friends family is there a lot!! Every 3 months they go there
We were there for New Years where the park hit max population.. incredible. Like nothing I’ve seen in my life, when walking the streets in some areas (especially the haunted mansion section) we were shoulder to shoulder.. literally. All I could think about was if there was a emergency people were gonna get trampled
I can’t imagine opening weekend
Custom Lightsaber build prices have been announced at Galaxys Edge
May 21, 2019
Savi’s Workshop at Batuu (Galaxy’s Edge) is the place to be to get your very own customised lightsaber for $199.99 plus tax.
$199.99 is a lot of cash but you are promised a quality item and a whole load of adventures and experience to come with it.Travel to Black Spire Outpost, where a group known as the “Gatherers” ushers you into a covert workshop packed with unusual parts, whimsical pieces and miscellaneous memorabilia collected from the far reaches of the galaxy.
Under their guidance, you can construct your very own lightsaber and bring it to life through the power of kyber crystals. Builders beware—you must protect the shop’s secrecy to avoid being discovered by the First Order!
The Gatherers will now help you select the heart of your lightsaber—the kyber crystal, which is available in red, blue, green or violet.
Next, begin assembling your hilt—parts will be provided based on your theme and cloisonné pin. Each box of parts includes:
1 hilt
4 sleeves (pick 2)
2 emitters (pick 1)
2 pommel caps (pick 1)
2 sets of activation plates and switches (pick 1 set)
Upon hilt completion, the unused parts will be collected by the Gatherers and returned to Savi’s inventory. These are not included with your lightsaber package.
Finally, the Gatherers will masterfully connect your hilt to a 36” lightsaber blade so you’re ready for anything the galaxy puts in your path!
