Wow, nice build. That helmet does look snug. How did you get your head through the bottom? Did you have to cut the helmet in sections?

this has to be the most well rounded Iron man costume I've ever seen. The detail, the mobility, the little extras., proportions etc

Haha currently I'm detailing the neck armor above, then once I'm done with that its on to the back and chest! I wouldn't expect to see an update for the next day or two, but it should be a good one!

Haha currently I'm finishing the back plate, then I start directly into the chest plate. I'm also trying to simultaneously do a lot of body work on the helmet, so that's slowing me down a bit. I'll have a whole slew of pics to share when both are done, so look forward to that! I'm guessing it might not be until the end of the week though...

Sure!

Here is some progress on the chest, and all of it together on my mannequin.

Note: this is the old helmet with the weak rim so it bows out. The new one is more snug and the color will match. This is also the old arm, so I'll be retooling it later.

That is just freaking BEAUTIFUL. Duct tape over cardboard and craft foam? WOW. It looks like metal. The attention to detail is spectacular.
