Hey dude, really nice costume. I just watched the movie and I have to agree with everyone here, I want to cosplay as a WCKD soldier too.Hello,
Finally after two years without working on it I finally could complete my outfit. I think that the result is accurate. I am really satisfied.
Hi, I am interested in purchasing a helmet if it is available. I'm gonna use it for airsoft and some cosplay. You can contact me on discord XDToasty3712.Yea! I printed it with the Artillery Sidewinder X1. I did print it from the source you posted and I tested it by shooting it with a 410 fps airsoft gun. It is only about 1/8th of an inch thick printed with pla. The mask is not fully completed I am stilll working in the visor.
Well done man, looks fantastic.Hello,

that's ******* awesome, have you figured out the mask yet?I bought the jacket they used for Newt in the Death Cure.

Its made for construction workers so its obnoxiously bright red in real life. I was able effectively replicate the color in the films by combining several RIT dyes, and it came out looking great!
The reflective Scotchlite strips were tinted red by the process, But in some of the behind the scenes shots of the jacket It looks like the strips have a similar red tint, so I'm assuming the production team used a similar method to achieve the color they wanted.View attachment 1864742
I Took a bunch of before and after photos of the jacket and the dying process, but i lost them somehow... Heres a few pictures of the jacket as it is now. The color actually appears darker in real life then it does in these photos, But if you compare it to a couple photos I have of Gally's jacket that sold in auction on eBay a few years ago, the color of the inside of the jacket matches quite well.

I'm assuming they dyed the jackets dark red, then painted some of them blue, hence the inside still being dark red. In some close ups of Gally in the movie you can see the red underneath the blue paint where the jacket has been distressed.

Only thing left to do is add the Velcro on the arms for the WCKD patches.
I have actually. I'm just running numbers on how much it will cost to do run of them before i post a thread on here to see if there's any interest.that's ******* awesome, have you figured out the mask yet?

Snagged a production made WCKD jacket with "Thomas" written on the label suggesting it may have been initially meant for Dylan O'Brien
Only cost $30 Hell of a lucky find, one mans trash is another mans tressure and all that.
You found the jacket on eBay before I bought it?oh lol

You’re not allowed to post links to buy things on here, so if you included the eBay listing in your post, it would have been blockedI did
