MattyCollector "Mattel Hoverboard" discussion

I’m looking to buy the Mattel replica Hoverboard soon. Can anyone fill me in which parts need to be upgraded to make it screen accurate?
So far from my research it’s:

• Honeycomb lenticular material from Sommers painted
• Pink and green Velcro strips
• Black hole for where the handle goes
• Pink fuzzy foot strap
  
  is there anything else I’m missing? I saw some people talking about the green footpad I didn’t catch the reasoning for it

White seatbelt material under the pink fur, colored adhesive vinyl—yellow and medium green sheet; white, pink, and dark green stripes.

I just bought a new one off eBay, and was disappointed to carefully open the boxes and see this one is a victim of the bubbling, peeling stickers I'm hearing about. Before I do something rash, is there a tried and true solution that others have used to fix this?

I think they all suffer from that unfortunately. You're probably better off peeling the entire sticker and printing out one of Roland's files and applying it to the board.

Since I don't sell my MattyCollector Hoverboard upgrade kit any longer and don't have plans for a new run, here's my PDF as a free download if anyone needs replacement decals. You can print them on white vinyl (there's special vinyl for laser printers). Or print them on paper and laminate them like I did for my upgrade kit.

Please note: This is made for the MattyCollector version of the Hoverboard not for the Halloween Costumes version. I don't know if it fits on the HC board.

I was able to utilize this to replace me peeling decals! Amazing! Thanks Roland! The only thing i'm missing now is the side decal strip that goes around the edge of the board.

Since my upgrade kit was a replica of the screen used photo boards, just paint the sides in matte silver or use silver vinyl.

I have just purchased a Matty Collector hoverboard for $150 and it's brand new besides the bottom seal being broken. I am wanting to sell it. What is a good price?

Working on using the cheap $50 Amazon hoverboard with all new 3d printed painted parts. The magnets are actually a dark grey primer - looks closer to the original as they are NOT black as all of the other boards I have seen.
