Marvel sued over Avenger's BluRay Case

This did suck! I was gonna buy that thing for sure.

Will still probably buy the redone version, but tempted to try & get a briefcase like that as well.

I have a feeling some of these will hit the open market and be redonkulously expensive collectibles.
Absolutely! If anybody manages to smuggle any of those cases out of some Disney vault they'll be all over the internet. I'm sure Disney is going to just try and readjust the packaging they already have. Take something off of it or put something on it so they can get away with selling them almost as they were. I'm sure they have tons of them already produced and they'd lose a ton of money to just toss em in a dumpster somewhere. Though if they do, somebody should be watching those dumpsters. heh.

Or some enterprising individual will buy an actual good conditioned used case, the dvd collection and put them together and sell it on ebay with a description saying it is one that got smuggled out of storage before the rest were destroyed.

Frankly I can't figure out why anybody would want to own this at all! LOL, I just watched the Avengers this weekend with my 10 yr old, she got so bored she left the room after 1 1/2 hours and had no desire to see how it ended. I have to say it was the most over hyped and disappointing super-hero movie Iv'e seen since spiderman 3. They should have just stuck with doing Ironman films, RDJ was the only reason I stuck it out till the end. I don't know where Marvel is going with this series, but unless they do the "civil war" I doubt I'll donate another 2 1/2 hours of my life to them. The sloppy legal issue with the case is indicative of their sloppy story telling and film making.

Are you on crack? Avengers was amazing. Easily one of the best Superhero films of all time.

1.5 billion dollar box office says you're in the extreme minority.

I, like most everyone else, thought it was a hell of a lot of fun. I re-watched it just today, actually.

I and my sons have watched it a couple times since the bluray came out. I agree, its one of the best super hero films out there.

Agreed I am in the minority, but I can't judge film making based on the money it brings in, I judge it based on the writing, acting and production, etc. There are many points in the film the pulled me out of the story because of its ridiculousness. I like superheros and superhero films, however I don't read comics anymore, and when I did, I didn't read the avengers. Mabey that's why flying aircraft carriers, and Nick Fury diving from a helicopter didn't do it for me. As well as hijacking religious figures for action adventure. Still it was better than the previous hulk movies, could have used a bit more of him. Financial success does not equal quality, ie; Phantom menace, walmart, the spice girls.:lol

Let's end this religious chatter, please? This is one of the forums where I get my updates regarding this glorious case.

I like the new case better.

This just in, Sony is going to sue Marvel now because they believe the new case is too reminiscent of the X-men logo.
