Mandalorian Season 3

I forgot to add that the New Republic Amnesty Program seems to be VERY Imperial. I mean they are stripping people's names away and giving them numbers, then sticking them in jobs they are overqualified for. It would make sense to give this guy a science job to keep him happy and be able to watch him.

And then there’s that whole “Neural-Neutralizer”, er….I mean…”Mind-Flayer” thing being used against these converts, against their will…

I am a big fan of The Mandalorian. Episode 3 was not good at all because of this doctor part, It was way too long and boring…

I didn’t feel I was watching a Mandalorian episode as the rythm was so slow with very long scenes.

I don’t understand why the Writers did that? I can understand this is an introduction for what will happen next with the bad guys… but…Come on… This show is made for the fun….fans want to see Mando and Grogu adventures…not boring long scenes like that…a shorter episode would have been better.

I really hope the next episodes of season 3 will be better…in all the Mandalorian series, this episode was the worst…
I hope the Writers will understand that they can´t add andor boring stuff in Mando…

The Empire killed billions. I think they consider this a more humane sentence for their war crimes vs. execution.
 
Also, was this Lt. Kane getting blasted on the bridge of Gideon's cruiser?

Hard to tell, but she is on the bridge when the shuttle lands, but then again so was Moff Gideon and he had time to get down to the cells.

Only way to tell is if the hair matches...

Yes! I think this might be what I was remembering! I was confused because I was pretty sure I had seen her get killed. I guess if that is her, that could just be yet another example of LFL playing free and loose with death and what’s lethal or not… Maybe she was just winged but somehow still instantly lost consciousness lol

Yeah I’m not really getting why Disney-era seems so against the New Republic and seems so gung-ho in depicting it in a fairly negative light. I guess they’re trying to add “nuance” or something to it but ehhhh…

Yup. The end of ROTJ was supposed to be "and they lived happily ever after". But no, with Disney, we've learned Luke's life sucked, Han and Leia's life sucked, and the New Republic sucked. They could've made new SW material without doing this.
It's like learning that once Frodo arrived at the Undying Lands, he found it's full of a-holes and he starves to death in a ditch.

Once JJ made the New Republic ineffectual so Leia had to found the resistance, Disney was stuck with it. They just have to go with it now, whether they want to or not.

One must remember in the new Star Wars getting stabbed in the gut with a lightsaber is no big deal so I’m sure getting hit with a blaster is nothing more than a scratch.
Bo-Katan I found interesting in this episode,when walking with Din she spoke of her family ruling over the subjects.Again to me interesting choice of words, I don’t think she wants to rule Mandalorians as a group of people rather it is her right to rule over her subjects.She knows if she can tame the mythosaur the mandos will have to follow her as per their “dogma”.You know the whole “those who have power” I think she wants the power back she once had more than helping her fellow Mandalorians.

IMO Disneys ideology is similar to authoritarian/Imperial views in Star Wars.If you don’t like a show of theirs you an “ist” of some form or just straight up not a true fan of Star Wars.Disney does not seem to be about hope,unity or love for Star Wars like the New Republic would be about.Kill the past and accept the new and don’t step out of line...
