Mandalorian Season 3

With the way this series seems to be nose diving and the whole can't remove your helmet thing, it just makes me think of this even more...

I was a fan of season 1 and 2, and even enjoyed BOBF (apart from scooter gang) but this season of Mando just feels off and seems to really be struggling to figure out it's place in everything. I think they are trying to hard to tie it into the movies and canon instead of letting it just ride on it's own merits

Also, while really nitpicky, it did bug me and take me out of the scene

When the Dr is taking the equivalent of a taxi and they are flying across the city, despite having an open topped vehicle, there is absolutely no wind?

I thought at one point, maybe they had a dome over the car, but no, there is not even a windshield. Just seemed like a very lazy attention to detail unless I am missing something

I thought that the ‘debrief’ droid looked like Maria from Metropolis.

The Taxi droid was inspired by the original concept art for C-3P0, which was in turn inspired by Maria

Force field? Do they have invisible ones in Star wars?

It was “The Will of The Force” that there be no visible wind seen in this joyride.

There was wind. He just uses VERY strong hair gel.

That scene was one of those where I totally thought something else had happened. From my first viewing in theaters I had assumed R2-D2 had sabotaged R5. I swore I had seen R2 reach out with a gadget and do something. Later in life when re-watching it, I was surprised when I could not spot it

In my head canon R2 still sabotaged r5 somehow :D

Something similar came up in conversation right after Episode 2 came out in regards to the speeder car chase. There was talk of a skeletal lock force field that kept the occupants inside the speeder. While this doesn't address on how Anakin could jump out of the speeder when it was high in the air, (perhaps you have to wave your hand in from of a sensor to disengage the lock) it does somewhat address that Obi-wan manages to catch Anakin's lightsaber out of the air and then just lay it on the seat next to him, confident that it wouldn't roll around or fall out.

Snarkyjay Cosplay (Youtube) did a funny review of this episode where she said she loves Oreos because they have two delicious cookies with awesome filling in the middle. She said this episode was like an Oreo with two delicious cookies on either end, but with "******* toothpaste" in the middle.
