The United States:That’s the same as saying that since one country doesn’t like another country and their form of government and labels it as ‘bad’, it’s okay to wage war on them with the intent to kill and replace them with THEIR SUPERIOR form of government.
It really is that simple, from a certain point of view.
Or bargain bin Davy Jones.Season 2 had a better first episode I think. Because of TBOBF this felt more like 3 episodes into a season. I think if you watch those TBOBF episodes back to back then go into this episode it works better.
But at least Swamp Thing is part of Star Wars now....
Is it me or does the color palette in this episode look MCU-ish?
That is exactly what I was thinking. This episode felt a bit like a video game quest to me with a 'Go and see XX' vibe, and a "Pirates!" attack while transiting between worlds to keep it interesting.
Wait - so why did he go to
Kalevala to talk to Bo before tracking down the memory chip for IG-11? I thought that was Priority #1 before he went down to Mandalore so there was someone to protect Grogu?
And another thing: why was
IG-11 so irreplaceable/indispensable if the memory chip - the memory chip that contained all of Kuiil’s careful nursemaid training - was shot? If DD has to start from scratch with a fresh chip, why does he need a beat-to-**** droid chassis?
It might have been more interesting if the *chip* survived, and was placed in a totally new chassis - just as deadly, but in a completely different way than what we’ve seen before.
So Bo just sits around in her empty castle brooding? Maybe he gave her a heads up he was coming, but that whole scene was awkward.
Uh oh ..Didn’t enjoy this episode. I can’t help the feeling that bringing back Grogu will have a negative impact on the series.
I really hope this doesn’t end up like a Lost style of show, where it becomes clear that there is no endgame for any of the characters to move towards.
