Mandalorian Reference Thread

After shelving this project for an entire year, I’m finally making some progress.

I still need to:

Rig everything up
Make the center diamond
Make the little Mandoputer screen
Weather the bandolier
Weather the soft goods
Make the cape
Paint the blaster pistol
Find new shin cartridges (the ones I have are too large)
(Probably redo the hand plates, since mine lack any raised details)

Another huge mod to my fieldmarshall. Bought this right angled aluminum from Lowe’s, cut and filed it to shape.

Well, I don’t actually sell anything. I am just finishing larger runs for a private Facebook group at the moment. Just wanted to share some recent work. I’m really hoping we get a lot more live action Bo. I love her helmet.
also i was wondering what happened to your "various mandalorian paintwork thread" it doesnt appear to exist anymore

I wanted to post this up on Thursday, but haven't had a chance... I found this at a Barnes & Noble. It has incredible pictures in it from Season 1. Not sure how readable the price is in the pic, but it was $13. They also had a an Empire Strikes Back version and it had a lot of facts in it. It surprises me how there are still little things out there about the OT that I didn't know. According to the magazine, Jeremy Bulloch originally tried to place the Wookiee scalps on his head because he thought it was supposed to be some sort of hair piece for his character.

I saw that this morning and decided to roll the dice on it. Hope it’s decent. Their PCR Vader and Fett are both very good overall, in my opinion..

I figure worst case scenario it will need some seams filled and a new paint job.

I'd be interested to hear what the differences between this and the black series helmet are. Seems to me like the licensees are really colliding in this area.
Not really. I mean there's both Black Series and EFX PCR Boba Fett helmets. This EFX one I imagine will be the same, lineage accuracy as the Limited Edition. The only difference would be the material and how it's constructed. The Black Series helmet is super oversized and the visor is wider, along with a few other differences compared to the more high end replicas.

I would expect the EFX to be more like the Anovos version. I posted comparison pictures a while back in this thread of both the Anovos and Hasbro versions.

I doubt EFX will do the weird double visor thing that Anovos did.

Yes they are both great. The plastic on the Vader is thin...but for this price a very nice piece.

Big Bad Toy Store posted these photos with the EFX PCR listing, and it looks like this is actually the helmet. The photos sideshow posted were the original fiberglass EFX photos.

The ears have been adjusted to be made in metal and are less accurate, but otherwise I think this looks great. I will be replacing the ears and giving it an Alumaluster paint job and it should be very nice.
