I'm wondering if The Mouse will frown on the weapons being used in promo material?
Hot Toys just shared some pics of their Beskar version Mandalorian! First decent shots of the Knife blade and flashlight, as well as a VERY brown suit.
Hoping this ships soon so we can get some more shots of that knife.
It's funny you say that because this is how it's described in the details...
- One (1) dark grey colored cape
- One (1) silver-colored chest armor
- One (1) dark grey colored undershirt with silver shoulder armors
- One (1) interchangeable silver-colored right shoulder armor with Mudhorn signet
- One (1) dark grey colored vest
- One (1) dark grey colored undervest
- One (1) dark grey colored abdominal pad
That’s fine. Look at the photos. Unless you mean to imply the bandolier and belt are “Dark Grey” as well... That suit, in those photos? It is brown. It couldn’t possibly be any more clear.
If you prefer a grey suit, that’s awesome, make a grey suit. You can argue it looks grey on screen, and I would agree in some cases.
If we are talking factually about the real world prop? It is brown. That’s just what it is.
Sideshow has just updated their page for the Hot Toys one. The price is $410.I'm definitely keeping my Sideshow order as I think it's the better display collectible of the two, but I wouldn't mind having the articulated Hot Toys version to troop with. I haven't seen a price yet, but that could be the determining factor.
Man! That is GORGEOUS!!! I'm building a helmet now and hoping to get it somewhat in the ballpark to what you have. Nice work!
Did you build the helmet or is it a kit or 3D print or what?
Recently finished up one of the last Mandalorian helmets I’ll be doing. Alumaluster like the real

Wow, man just wow. This is awesome!
Any more updates on the armor you were painting or did I miss any?
There are a bunch of photos on my Facebook page! Figured it would be a little much to add here. I do have two full sets of armor in that are being painted right now so keep an eye out for those on FB as well. “Jackson Rupert”
