Making a Cosplay Captain America TFA work...

Even the Cap protects his eyes.

Have to send the right message to the kids.

Been thinking that a pair similar to these may work.

Amazon.com: ZAN HEADGEAR/BOBSTER SLIMLINE GOGGLE CLEAR BSA001C: Automotive

Just use a regular helmet and goggles until about a block away and then change into the homemade helmet with either slim cycle or skydiving goggles.

Man, I hate to say this but I'm thinking of finishing this and putting my uniform in the junkyard. I found a deal in town that I have to try and find some cash for quick... AAAAGGGHHHH! What do I do?? As you can tell I'm a bit of a vintage Harley nut and found one that I have to act quick on... An all original 1960 DuoGlide Panhead for 5K!

Wow, that is a predicament... You've worked quite a bit on this, and it shows! I would hate to see you give that up

Life is filled with choices.
Hoping that you would restart a better TFA suit from all the lessons learned then the only thing that would be lost is time.
One lucky person will get a great suit.
And, as you already know, unless abused or wreaked a Harley doesn't go down in value.
It would be a no brainer for a WLA or an Indian Power Plus.

Fits me really well. I need another bike like I need a hole in the head, so I've not concreted anything yet...

So this particular suit is long gone from my possession but I'm rekindling this old thread to post my latest edition to my Cap Uniform... I got this in the mail about a week ago. There were two reasons I joined the RPF almost 2 years ago... To find a Cap helmet and Shield. I ended up making my own helmet and finally have this masterpiece in my hands...

I'm currently making another set of leathers and have the UD replicas top. When funds build back up I'm getting a set of UD replicas TFA pants.

Slowly going to put this together again :thumbsup
