I just received mine. It looks amazing somewhat heavy. But it could use some minor sanding on the control box, pommel boxes and the bottom cylinders. The threads are nice and smooth the led triangles use 5mm double sided tape, also how do I go about attaching the d ring without breaking it?

So glad to hear that it's heavy, I was worried that it'd be a tad light because it's hollow. Still kinda bummed out about the 12 stripes on the card, however. Oh well. It'd be nice if Slothfurnace offered that ROTJ card with a brass finish, wouldn't it?

13 I believe. Roman does amazing work but maybe it was a mistake to do a run before the movie came out.
The 13th/bottom one seems not to be reflecting like the others in that picture but looking here you can see it.
That's what I wondered about too but does that mean it ends on a black stripe? If it's the inside of the box isn't that decently shorter? Might be the case and does make some sense.
Yes, that's correct. Either the card was shorter or pushed up a bit allowing the box underneath to be seen giving the illusion of another stripe.

I'm glad you even got the thicker grenade section rings.
It looks like the only inaccuracy is the size of the red and green triangles. A part that I am sure will be easy to replace down the road.

Disassembled the control box, here’s the inside
I don’t know if the arrows are supposed to stick out... I think I’m going to glue them in so they are sticking out. Don’t want to sand them down flush..
If people do sand them down warning, they have a bevel to them. One side is smaller.. so be sure to sand down the right side

How do I do the d ring
I don’t think whining led’s through then will work... I think they are too solid
Krsabers has some triangle led arrows
I will be playing with that tomorrow, I’m going to chemically weather it tomorrow so I don’t want the tri ring on
I would cut 1/16th at a time, that’s what I usually do, I screwed up once and cut too much and you could see it sticking out the pommel...
