I'm sorry. My message came off way crankier then I meant it. Your video did help. Thanks. What I meant was that since this turned into a more general discussion thread. It wasn't entirely clear to me who was chiming in that they were on the list and who was just asking or answering questions

It's also a good idea to put some thick tape around the AL as your sliding it down that way you don't inadvertently scratch the AL. I've seen folks file off the 4 little stamped tabs inside the Graflex and this would be less of an issue if you go this route. I didn't want to wreck the Graflex clamp section so I cut notches where the stamped sections are. Not exactly sure of the authenticity of doing this little detail that way.

Take off the clamp lever completely so you can spread the clamp more open and reconnect after it's around the hilt.

Maybe the centre hole of the emitter is being left with a hole, where a short piece of rod can be glued in to achieve the look?
