Yes, I let the oven cleaner stay on and bubble for 4-5 minutes. It removes the extreme black tones of the aluminum black.

I had a spare d-ring from Roy (wannawanga.com) & it fits great! I used a logo-less clamp I got with my weathered Obi-Wan lightsaber from Roman. I need to drill the 3 holes in it... I'll do it one day here soon. The clamp card is from Slothfurnace.

I was was gonna jump into the aging process today... but this thing is so beautiful, I'm gonna hold off for a bit.

Anyone making a blade plug for this?
For those posting or messaging me about clamp cards, I made an order. I expect they'll arrive in about two weeks or so. I've never ordered this kind of pcb before so it's kind of a gamble, but hopefully they'll turn out well. I'll report back with pictures once I get them and then anyone interested can contact me. They will be black with gold stripes (Stunt version on one side, hero on the other). I went with the ENIG (gold) finish which is somewhat more expensive, but I'm thinking like $5 a board plus shipping, so still a deal compared to others out there. I'm not trying to make a profit from it.
To me, the black lines look almost like electrical tape that's been cut into thin strips. It definitely looks like the black lines are raised, you can tell from the wear on the gold lines, the slight discoloration pattern is the same or similar on each gold line. Like from a finger rubbing the "card".
Also, the ends of the black lines look a bit curled up from the surface of the card, opposite the lever side of the clamp. That also suggests to me that they were placed there like tape.
There's another kind of tape we use sometimes, called "Art Tape" that is already very thin. We use it for "Greeking" out logos and such on set.
In short, to me the card looks like a brass sheet with black tape on it. I'm gonna try and replicate one when I finally get home.

This shot is pretty convincing to me, too. You can see a couple small air bubbles under the first black stripe on the left, suggesting tape of some kind.
The black stripe fourth from the right (or just to the right of the clamp lever's hinge) even looks a little crooked, like someone did this by hand.
I've gone ahead and ordered some art tape and a small brass strip to see what I can make of it.
All of this aside, I absolutely LOVE my Slothfurnace card!!

Sorry to disappoint but I just ordered a black PCB with the lines in copper (gold finish). I basically just copied the slothfurnace design under ROTJ Hero & Stunt Clamp Cards, but with the gold finish instead of copper. Mine do not have the thin lines at the ends and also will not have any branding text on the edge. I guess we'll see how they turn out, but if you want it more accurate I guess you need tape and edging.

I got mine told. I like the idealized version of these lightsabers. Gave mine a quick polish.

-J&R Productions (I think, I bought it about 18 years ago) Hero.

I think your hero may be a J&E (J for Janice, I think?), if I recall correctly. Man, that brings me back! Nice, shiny collection you've got there!

The one person I forgot to mention and I do believe he should be. The stand is by Fluxdimensions (on eBay). I read somewhere that he was a member on theRPF but I'm not sure if he goes by the same userID.
