I suppose so but like the post following yours, though they shared a similar past, they wound up going different roads. Though the body of the hilt may have been similar, they still varied in details in terms of screw placement and overall finish. The V2 was cleaned up a bit more and has different details by the time RotJ rolled around, which made it its own thing, and the very same can be said for the V3. This run is making a slightly idealized V3 as it appears now in ILM's archives. If you're buying this hilt, you can do whatever you please with it but adding the V2 details to this would just make it the modern V3 with V2 details; a hybrid, if you will.

List updated, I have today to finalize the anodizing, please let me know if u want it anodized or not. Tomorrow they will be sent off. I will be only sending the ones that asked all the rest will not be anodized.

This may have been asked or addressed somewhere else but it has to do with the clamp and before I mod one, I will ask. Do the inside tabs of the clamp have to be filed down to correctly fit onto the body?

That's looking so good, Rudy! I'm quickly becoming a fan of your work. Would you ever consider attacking some of the prequel sabers? I don't know of anyone making a decent Ep 2 Anakin saber at the moment...

cant wait! glad to be a part of this. the specific model its based off, did it have the small d-ring or was it without? i can't remember if your version has one?
