I found that if I hold my motorized hilt near the emitter (like what alec did) it helped steady any kick that develops. I dont quite understand torque but i had some because i just stuffed gaff tape around the tang and it wasnt true. I did put my converted CX-4 on it and it was more of a burden on the motor, maybe the added aluminum inner sleeves? Slightly heavier antenna?
Anyway, on the V2, seeing that the D/S is pretty tight in the nipple, today, with 2 set screws, im following that if the emitter didnt spin then the nipple or the D/S had to. It seems they secured more than just the taped neck to get it static
