I have a question (forgive me if it has been addressed): There was mention in the other thread about how there is a blocky piece of metal which was we used to think was a fillister head screw. Is this included or is this a found item, or is someone else making it?

Let me look into this. As far as I'm aware, it's still a fillister head screw.

It was brought up in the V2 thread and I imagine it's a sprue or molded chunk from a pour/air spout that wasn't milled off when the body was originally casted.

I think I'll be able to take care of the cone knobs

that would be fantastic I was starting to stress myself out about finding these

So from what I can tell parts wise it'll be

Anakin Starkiller - V2 Saber blank - D Ring - cone knob (hopefully)

slothfurnace - clamp card run

Roygilsing - clamp levers

Romans Empire - Graflex clamp (I can only see no logo clamps on his site but I could live with that I guess)


Regards the 3 parts of the saber, thought I best ask how easy is this gonna be to put together, will you be including any screws etc we need (only multi part V2 I have is the Russrep which is threaded/screwed together)

also will they be drilled for the Cone Knob etc? My metal work skills are shamefully lacking & the only time I tried to drill a saber I nearly destroyed the thing, given that the V2 is pretty much my holy grail I don't want to mess it up :facepalm

I'm really looking forward to this run

I had the same question... would there be a possibility of having the hole drilled/tapped for those of us that can't easily do it ourselves?

Most of the holes will be drilled, tapped and threaded, the one I wasn't planning on doing is the one for the conical knob. In case someone wants to make the working ANH stunt or the shared stunt, you can't really undrill that holes.
