So Rusty85 really set the bar high with his jacket. When I first made mine years ago it was before we had the hi-res photo's from the Prop Store and after I started to study the pictures I realized there was alot wrong with mine. So I decided to re-do some of the stuff that was bothering me the most. I moved the placement of the Leopard and Snake Lady and gave the front Leopard more fraying like the movie used jackets. I also updated the canvas skull and anarchy patches with the new designs, and replaced a few other patches with vintage pieces or newly designed replicas. I also put the 13 patch on the outside of the other patches like the screen used version, rather than under the others like the Prop Store jackets. It's still not quite as nice as Rusty85's jacket because his is pretty hard to compete with, but overall I'm happy with the new make-over. That being said, the jacket is always something that can be made better as you find new pieces so don't be afraid to tear it apart and upgrade if you find better stuff. Honestly it's easier the second time because you have a better idea of what to do.
Which leads me to something else I recently noticed. It was thought for sometime that the cuffs and bottom of the jacket were trimmed up a few inches just below the seam. However after I was really looking close up at the Prop Store pictures, it looks like they're trimmed above the seam. I've attached some pictures of the Prop Store jackets showing what I'm referring to. It seems like the jacket would fall apart doing that, especially after washing it to get the fray, but I guess it doesn't. Anyway, just thought I'd throw that out there.

To touch on the topic mentioned previously about Marko's base jacket being trimmed, since building it I've always wondered why it was trimmed so much. He has matadors on his jacket, and Star is wearing a matador jacket, was Susan Becker going for a matador jacket "look" possibly. Her jackets appear to have some logic and story behind them, and not just haphazardly thrown together. I wish I could ask her what her ideas were behind each character. Some of the stuff I've read in the past is pure speculation, and not factual. I want answers damn it!

So broxigar259 made the recent discovery that Paul's jacket doesn't use a wallet chain, but actually a chin chain(chin scales) from a vintage British pith helmet. They are hard to come by and rather expensive as well. The chin chains use leather or fabric on the back side for comfort against the wearers skin. Paul's utilized a white canvas fabric, but I found one that had leather instead and updated my jacket. It's missing a few rings from the bottom but I think it's close enough.

So I've managed to get another haul of items recently, but there are the main findings.

The draw pulls do vary in sizes, the right are the first ones I found, left are the new bundles, seems about 73mm wide.

Here is an original LtR (left) compared to a good Japanese reproduction. The Japanese one is 11cm, the original is 10cm.
