LONDON FILM AND COMIC CON 2014 July

I had an awesome weekend even if i didnt get autographs from Stan. But i got a pic.
It was especially awesome to see the kids smile when they made pics with spidey :D
Besides the pic with Stan the best pic and meeting was with Ivy. She is super nice and lovely and i hope she comes next year as Black Cat ^^

Got early bird tickets for my family, so got in ~20 minutes after arriving at 09:30. Abandoned my Witch King 20 minutes in, as I was roasting, and the impaired visibility was stopping me from enjoying the great Cosplay of others.

Not sure where the RPF booth was.

There wasn't one ;( i came from Belgium with alot of stuff and had to leave it in the car ;(

We got there about 9am, queue looked quite large but only took ten minutes to get inside.
Got pretty busy later, a friend of ours went outside and wasn't allowed back in due to overcrowding for about twenty minutes.

I was fairly disappointed with the whole thing. Had early bird tickets so got in ok but from there it was a let down, perhaps I was expecting too much having only been to mcm comicons before now. We had seen the post on the SM site mentioning the transformers action figure giveaway and was really excited about this but on the absolutely nobody we asked new anything about it. Crowd and queue control seemed non existent Nd while we were waiting for 9am to arrive people were jumping in the queue ahead of us which really annoyed me seeing as we got there at 6:45 to ensure a good chance of getting in early. Dont think I will bother with the october one seeing as mcm comicon is the following weekend

I went to my first con in may. That was the mcm one. My friend and myself both think the mcm one was better.
It was pretty busy before the general tickets were allowed in. Once they came in you could barely move around any of the stalls.
Seemed a bad idea to have the signing in the middle of the hall with people queuing across the hall. Signs were poor to non existent and the staff didnt seem to be able to answer any questions.
Some of the costumes were brilliant though, very well done.

As an autograph collector I hate the manga show at Excel. They have no idea how to do autos and can not really be compared to LFCC .

The queuing this weekend was a joke and I have never known it to be this bad.

I have been going to shows run by both companies for over 10 years and even after this weekend I would still rather go to a Showmasters event.
