The books are ready! The missus is posting them Wednesday, as that's the first opportunity we have to get to a post office.

I will send out tracking numbers as I get them.

The new run starts in September. You can pre-order for this if you wish. But I'm not starting them until then.

My copy arrived today. I have to say I'm both very happy with it and very disappointed at the same time.

The book itself is very pretty. BUT! There was a note attached to the front cover with a ring.. that ring ruined the top of the front cover... why... WHY would you do that? Why make something pretty and ruin it immidiately? I would have found the note even if you don't attach it to the cover and now I would be a 100% satisfied customer instead of feeling bad about my defective book

Please don't do this with any other books you ship.

The note is part of the whole look of the prop. If you remove it of course there will be a mark. I do unpin the ring clip slightly so it doesn't put too much pressure it.

Can't speak for others, but I definitely would have prefered an undamaged book..
I'm also fairly sure you can find other ways to attach the note, ways that don't leave ugly marks on an otherwise gorgeous book.

EDIT: or maybe you could just include the note and the ring in the package and let people decide whether or not they want to attach it. But if I'm the first one who is this bothered by the marks it left than it it may be just me.

Of course, place payment and state name on here and version you'd like. I assume you mean the photo Rita version, rather than the debossed Rita? All versions are foiled.

Yep it's started books have been sent to print and I've started work on some of the covers.

These should be out by Christmas at the latest.

Just out of curiosity, especially with the new crimes of grindelward trailing dropping today, do you plan on making changes to the book based off new information that we may learn through out the magical beast series about the relationship and events between dumbledore and grindelward?

I will probably purchase your current version but it would be cool to have two versions before and after the magical beast series.

Possibly...although it may only be some alterations on a single chapter. There is a chapter on the fight between Dumbledore and Grindelwald, but how much will be changed would depend on if I feel it necessary to change. don't forget this is Rita Skeeter, who i'm sure uses quite a bit of artistic license when it comes to the stories she weaves!
