For anyone interested, I can vouch for how VERY accurate this dial is. It has gone through a ton of prototypes and iterations, using photogrammetry and just about every accurate screen reference out there, to get as near-perfect as possible. I have no idea how many hours I put into this project with ajhix, but it is easily the most time-invested commission I have taken in the last 5 years.

You will absolutely not be disappointed with one of these Dials; it is not just an iconic namesake prop from a celebrated franchise, but also an impressive piece of mechanical engineering. I loved working on this, even f it wanted me to pull my hair out at times.

Update....

The first post is updated with the interest list. After a little further analysis, Lael updated the model on a couple of key features that match the hero dial. I think everyone will be happy with the changes he made that will make it even more accurate.

At this point, the 3d model is completely finalized and I have already printed another full dial with all of the new pieces. All of those pieces were completely primed today and will be painted this week. I am hoping to paint the first layer of gold tomorrow (fingers crossed). I am aiming for this weekend to show the final dial that will be offered here.

I have been keeping track so I can calculate time/materials and nail down costs. I know everyone is waiting on a price to commit to a spot. Give me this week to get this one done and all the details will be finalized for everyone on the fence. A detailed update can be expected this weekend.
