I used a spray paint for vinyl this time.

These are not 100% accurate. They have a cylinder instead of a central ball shape. This is actually the type on Lando's wrist comm.

I too have an Original Airflow Collar and I plan to replace the Synthetic padding with Black Leather and re-stitch it on once I paint it!
This project looks like its going VERY Nicely!

I can't wait to see it done! Nice Job! :D

Looks really great. And good to see you pushed the sides inside the facemask part, so the side clamps are pretty close to the next greeblies on the back. But shouldn't it sit a little lower, so it sits flush with the bottom and top edge? Or was it like that on the original?

I might have the wrong size of collar. I think mine is a large but it should be medium. Or my mask maybe undersized. Recast.

Have a pic to explain this ?

Looks great
Any cracking on the collar when you bend it with it being a spray paint ?
Also where did you get the studs on the aerial connectors I can only seem to find the wrong size

The studs were machined a long time ago. I used direct to vinyl spray paint. Normal spray paint would go tacky after a few weeks but wouldn't crack.

Unfortunately I forgot to spray the top edge of the foam. I'll fix that with careful masking.

Aw NOPE! That's It! You ****** it up! Nope! You have to tear it ALL Apart and start over! LOL
JUST Kidding! It looks GREAT! And Actually I don't think they sprayed the Foam on the Original one either if you look at the pics?

I will see if I have any showing the foam on the original collar. I don't think they worried about it because it wouldn't be seen?

This is AMAZING How this is coming out! Progress is AWESOME! :D

You got that the wrong way round. It is yellow at the back showing between the AM plugs and mesh, but lightly sprayed black on the wearer's side.

I don't have all the parts yet but I have no plans on doing runs.
