Kneel before zodddd! FINISHED 27/11

That turned out VERY well Rich... a few grey hairs here n there would help to lighten up the barnet and beard and chest hairs and it'll be perfecto ;)

Agree! Only thing I thought of. That would be PERFECTION! :love

How do you guys sculpt these guys when the reference has facial hair?

Always stunned by fettster, cyb, Howard etc etc. when you guys sculpt the stuff UNDER the facial hair. I know you take older reference from other sources... but it still blows me away!!! :confused

Awesome sculpt and build up here. Simply amazing. (y)thumbsup

THAT IS OUTSTANDING!!! Just amazing work. SO wished I could win a lottery to have some of you guys on here comissioned to do some pieces..I mean just oustanding. :eek

very nice rich, i like the eyes especially.

2nd to last pick down... looks like he's thinking about melting my face with heat vision!

Your right Zorg I think the eyes and sculpted in furrow to his brow, THAT really hits home with the essence of this character. Just nailed it.

Had to come back and take another peak. :)

A fantastic turn out. LOVE IT!!! I personally would like to have the eyes looking dead on and up for an intence stare and agree on putting a couple grey hairs through out.

Do the full scale. Get a manniquin with the arms behind him like he always walked around. Costume might be pricey to have made properly tho.

Again, really pushing the envolope buddy, great to see!

Looks great!

Needs some chest hair though. Little bit of gray in the hair as well would make it even better but it's damned fine now.

Might wanna email Terrance Stamp and let him know about it. Seems like a cool guy, and I think he'd get a kick outta this.

Wow... just, wow. This is your best one yet (which is true every time you do a new character). Superman, obviously, is a much more well known and iconic character - which you also did great on (best Superman out there), but the realism and likeness here are unbelievable. I know people usually throw this is in when praising 1:1 stuff - but this REALLY looks like a photo of the actor himself. I dont even collect SM stuff but would proudly display this just for the artistic skill conveyed.

Great, great, classic villain too.

Oh, and DEFINITELY do a full figure to stand next to Superman - this is the only villain from the movies that is fitting/worthy of it.

Thanks so much guys, it's really humbling to get such great feedback and I really do appreciate all that take the time to post.

Im still playing with the hair so it will have more grey in the temples and on his chin. It's actually quite difficult to find grey human hair in wefts so I still don't have any. I'll also add some hair to his chest once I figure out where the costume collar finishes.
The main thing I have noticed is that I haven't bought the hairline down low enough so have spent the last couple of hours fixing that and it's like nog and day. I'll post new pics tomorrow

Ya know at first I wasn't seeing Zod, but after the paint and now the hair.....I'm just taken aback. The sculpt was really there and I just wasn't seeing it. The full scale Joker put you down as someone I'd keep an eye on, but after the Reeve Superman and now this you are becoming a fav of mine. Can't wait to see what else you have coming. I'd love to see this turn into full scale and shown with Supes.

Really great to see something different and done sooooooo well. I think the facial expression perfectly captures the essence of the character! Congrats again!

hi guys, as promised, here are some better pics of Zod after i lowered the hair line.

Great all around Rich! Even the low cut shirt is spot on!

I always wondered why this guy took so long for someone to sculpt... with all of the Reeves out there? I'm sure this will look great right next to your Reeve!

Your General Zod bust turned out amazing & the lowered hairline is a huge improvement.

Terence Stamp would be proud.:thumbsup
