great work mate, really brings the casting to life, I think this might me your best paint work to date
the fact that you sculpt busts from scratch, make your own eye's , punch the hair and paint them then display them as well as you do really deserves credit and all in such a quick turn around time too

gonna look awsome next to your superman will you go for a full sized statue or just do a bust version of reeves to face them off against each other ?

what else you got up your sleeve after this ?

@clutch, I haven't done any type of tutorial. I think painting is such a personal thing that what works well for one, might not for another.

Daz@ cheers bud, I'd like to do the full figure but I'm no costume maker so it depends on if I can commission someone to make me a costume. If not, then I'll stick to a bust and may well do a Reeve bust to go with it.

May I ask what method you use to paint the silicone? Is it just oils mixed in with air drying silicone like we used on Potter?

Hi Mate, almost. I use silicone pigments rather than oil paint, no other reason than i just prefer too.

hi all.

I have just finished inserting the last of the hair. I still want to make a few adjustments here and there but its pretty much done. please excuse the lack of costume, i havnt had a chance to make it yet and im still on the fence about keeping this as a bust or going full statue.

you really have outdone yourself with this fella mate, the hair work really is great and finishes off complimenting your sculpt and paint perfectly
I think it would look amazing as a full statue next to your superman but that costume would be very tricky to get sorted I'd imagine but a great challenge

still would alos love to see both of these as busts face to face, they would make an awsome display
