JURASSIC WORLD Owen Grady Costume

I foud dark grey wranglers in slim fit. They are wrangler red line or something. Ive only ever seen them at wal mart

Regarding the Orvis Open Air Caster #4a38. It is availabilie for $59. Sizes are limited though. Call catalog directly and see if a store is sitting on any. If you are near a store, stop by and ask them to check other stores In the AS400, if they are out. You have two options. First is to have them call catalog and order it for you. This way you get free the shipping. Calling catalog directly does not get the free shipping unless you have an Orvis Visa card. Option two, have them call the store directly and request a send sale. Chances are they will go for the first option, since they get commission and the store gets the credit for the sale. Send sale gives it to the other store.
If you still can't find your size call the outlet stores, phone numbers are on the Orvis homepage under "store locator", bottom of page. All outlets are East Coast. If you are in a regular store ask if they will see if the outlets have any. Catalog cannot pull from an Outlet and will never tell you about that inventory. Most stores won't devulge that info freely either, but if you ask, they usually will tell you. If they won't call an outlet for you, call Manchester's outlet, they are fantastic and extremely helpful.
Also this is a staple shirt. It's been around for about about 3 years and has been an excellent seller. Chances are very good it will return in the spring.
Otherwise, a possible brand might be ex officio, or Colombia. REI and other outdoor sores carry the brand.
One other note, if you place an order with catalog, chances are good you will get $25 off coupons in the mail. They are for purchases over $50. You can use multiple items to reach $50. Lots of item are $49 so go buy a $1.50 fly or the $2.00 tote bag. Lots of these coupons come out at the holidays.
Good hunting

I must admit that I didn't find a template but I did a google image search for a Jurrassic World ID badge. When I found one that looked decent I put it in powerpoint and layered my pic over Chris Pratt's image. After that I sized it up to match a standard ID badge size, and printed both images out on normal paper. After that I just cut them outand stuck them in an old con badge holder. I dont want to take undue credit for someone elses hard work so I will definateley look into buying a real one latter. This particular badge I literally made right before I walked out of my front door And assembled it on the ride over to the con.

Glad to hear you liked it :p (I'm the guy who designed the badge haha). I don't mind btw, I used to do that kind of stuff all the time back in the day and that's part of how I got somewhat adept at graphics design. I completely sold out of the first generation version but should you ever be interested, I just started reprinting a second generation with improved durability (identical process, finish, and materials as credit cards).

Hi everybody new guy here. Never been that interested in cosplay level costumes but I must admit I've been bitten by the bug trying to assemble this outfit.
Heres what I've put together.
The maxx rifle, which when spray painted, ain't half bad

the butler creek rifle sling. I didn't feel like buying real bullets so spray painted some nerf bullets. Surprise they they look close to 45-70 ammo
the tamiami Columbia shirt in blue grey which Is just a bit too blue. Also sized down to L and a good fit. I'm 6'3 203
the jacket maker version of the vest. I haven't received it yet but I'm already regretting the order. Once I poked around more there are better cheaper and likely more reliable options.
Since im probably not going to get the vest before Halloween I got this as backup. I'll try to dye this I guess but it's 65% poly so maybe not a good idea.

The owen Grady Id badge.
Boots and pants I have that are close enough.
My dive watch
multi tool with belt holder. Unfortunately not dragon works
will check cabelas for reasonable knife and horizontal belt sheath
so that's it so far will post pics once it all comes together. Thanks for the help!

the shirt was so annoying to color match I must have dyed it like 4 times...I couldn't decide on grey-blue or murky-blue and just ended up going for more blue hued than pale grey/blue. I still have to replace the original buttons with clear ones. and move the sleeve button tabs up above elbow placement. and finish making mini foam raptor pack a week til Halloween it's no biggie >__< lol

And just a note-I purchased the vest from Flesh and Hide. The second time wearing it, the fake leather peeled off at the pockets. I emailed their website and was ignored for weeks. When they finally responded, the person talking to me had limited use of English and suggested I buy another jacket and they would give me a discount. I said I just wanted the vest I ordered in the first place. Another couple of weeks of being ignored. Finally fed up, I phoned them. The man on the phone said he would look into my order. He emailed me later to say he had found it and that I had ordered the faux leather, not the real leather. I asked him what we could do to make me happy. He told me that their garments were only warrantied for 30 days, and would do nothing. So, they ignored my complaints until the warranty was void. Do not give them your money. I don't like having to complain like this, but they really screwed me over.
Like I said, just a note.

Just more or less finished my Owen gun!

2015-10-22 14.34.01.jpg

Originally it was a Red Ryder BB gun. I used a band saw and sand paper to make the stock and grip from scratch, out of a 10x2 piece of wood from Home Depot. I then stained and sealed it. Added a gun rail, a $25 scope from eBay and the sling. Painted it and voila.

2015-10-22 14.34.09.jpg

This was a surprisingly expensive build. The gun was about $50, the scope was $25 ish +shipping, the sling was another $30, then all the hardware and paint brought the total to just under $200 i Canadian ish.

I also built a plug that I painted orange that screws onto the end of the barrel so I could take it to conventions without getting arrested and/or shot. I wanted that part to be removable so I could display the rifle without it. Overall I'm really happy how it turned out. I may go back and fix some of the paint, but that's a "next summer job".

Picked up a pair of J Brands on ebay for $30! They're a slightly different color and had a small tear inside one thigh, but they're being repaired free of charge by the seller. Just need a vest and boots now

Ok so the jacket maker vest showed up early. The leather feels good and the fit is spot on for my frame 6-3 203. . All the stitching is fine. ordered an xl or us 42 according to them.

Heres a pic of my fake bullets aka painted nerf projectiles.

So almost done! Waiting on orvis shirt and cheapo knife to complete the costume. Sorry the pics are wonky. I can't figure out how to unsquish them

Lol I usually rock a Jurassic World Owen Grady ID badge, even though we never see him with one in the movie. That seams to help people Identify the costume. The iritating thing for me is that I've been wearing vests for a while now in my everyday wordrobe, so those that know me don't realise that I'm in costume. :)

Got my J Brands in and they're huge. They're labeled a 36, but fit line a 38. They're also not slim, but more relaxed. Starting to wonder if they're not the right ones

What's the tag say on the inside of the waist?

Here's mine from a sz. 36 that fit perfectly:
