John Dwyer Set decorator for Star Trek passes away at 84

Having in my small way trod in his large footsteps doing set decoration for Star Trek Continues, I wish I could've met him.

So sad that all of these "behind the camera" names I grew up with - through reading Starlog, various making of TOS books and most of all memorizing the credits from the shows - are all passing into eternity in the past 5-10 years or so . Bob Justman, Joe Pevney, Jerry Finnerman . . . RIP Mr. Dwyer.

Many years ago I got the opportunity to meet John when he was looking for Trek props for one of the movies
and he came by my work area to see what I was working on and said that he would take all 5 of the props and
the paint wasn't even dry yet!
This would be the first time my "stuff" would be in Star Trek and on the big screen (not sure which movie, but was the Next Gen Cast).
He will be missed.
