JFcustom's FOAM files

still WIP along with many other projects :(
a quick photo

The scale on this is totally wrong :( maybe someone can point me in the right direction. In order for the face part to be big enough to cover my face, I had to scale it up quite abit. infact, I can fit another 1/2 my head in there, maybe 3/4 :(

If I went with the size so the helmet is a snug fit, then the bottom of the helmet will only go down to the top of my upper lip.
any ideas how I can make it so the helmet will fit also the face part is larger? I don't think I will make this again and I will just use it as display but will be good to know how I can get around this

Bah.... too many seams on the face plate for me to be too proud of my helmet....I need to actually start working on sealing and sanding. But I be lazy..... But thanks!

And you look like a beast in that suit. Love the scale and how it all looks. Freaking awesome!

And don't make fun of me for asking but is it a trend with IM suits and not wearing clothes? I swear most of them on Facebook are all like what you posted...... lol.
if you don't want seams in your faceplate, do this

comes out like this then

LOL, "boxers and armor"... that needs to be a thread of its own. I swear when I get my suit done, I'm coming back here and taking a picture of me in my armor with nothing but boxers on.

Seriously though, nothing wrong with looking "tankier" when you're wearing a robotic suit. Looks good.

I'm not making fun of the boxers-and-armor pics by any means :) When I paper-pep armor pieces, I try them all on (including thighs, cod, etc) before I even resin to make sure they all fit properly. I use compression shorts, the boxers had a tendency to snag on the paper pieces and risk tearing. Looks silly as hell, but it's also saved me buckets of resin.

#true story

Those models were not made by me, they are game models that SriLanKing and I ripped, converted and partially cleaned. Those files need A LOT of work in 3d modeling software before they can be used with Pepakura and converted into foam templates.

I don't suppose you have a link to any of the other Jagers?
