It's also got a little touch of Samurai going on in the back there.

I have some Gow helmets if anyone wants them, there for normal pep so i dunno if Jf has them or if he will be making those too but just to share since some of the links are broken and well some of those helmets are long gone. From top left to bottom right , Locust Horned, Savage Theron Guard, Kantus Hat ( needs unfolding ) , Theron Guard, Theron Sentinel and Queen Myrrah ( needs unfolding ).locust.jpg

I redid the file when I built another for a contest winner so I don't have what I used. I usually aim between 165 and 175 on the inside to make sure my head will fit. This is what I do every time I build a helmet.... skip to 3:32 on the video.

Heres some progress on the GoW helmet, its rough cause I haven't sanded or smoothed out anything yet. My dremel petered out. The "holes" or open parts will get some thinner foam underneath to fill those in, just wanna smooth out the edges first. Taking in some advice in Durkness' video, I tried to allow the edge of the foam to compensate for the "valley/mountain" folds, plus I left some of the foam parts out. Mainly the eye part. I also left off the circle ear pieces because my cuts weren't as round as I would like them, its a WIP. Im still working on finding and creating the right angles, so the angles are off on the face. I didn't mess with the sizing on this fold and other than it being tight going on, it fits well.
