Jazwares Primalux Vader Costume

If someone used that and was going to do a full dome repaint I wonder if you could brush on fiberglass and then sand smooth before painting.

The helmets are so affordable, you could buy a second one, cut the lid off the helmet portion and plastic cement the cowl portion inside the main helmet to thicken the outside edges. That's what I'll be doing. I was going to cut abs or styrene to do this but the cowl portion is already the right shape and should stack neatly inside the other.

Or maybe brush on a few coats of UV resin?

So I unboxed my helmet last night. Very impressive. Am I detaching/ attaching the dome correctly. Is it a twist lock that takes a ton of force with a violent snap into place? I'm afraid of breaking it. How the heck can you do this if you are putting it on your head? I may never take it apart again.
You should be able to pull it on with the dome attached.

I'm seeing a lot of comments about the helmet but would like to know if this Jazwares suit would be good enough for display purposes? I have some really nice SW props (i.e. Master Replicas) and always wanted to have a full Vader size in my collector room. I have an Legend EFX Valder helmet that I could swap with the Jazwares if it's really that bad. But what about the rest?

I didn't feel like pulling the body suit out of the bag, but the faux leather and the cape are nicely made and good quality for a mass produced costume. Even up close the faux leather looks and feels like the real thing.
The cape material has a nice texture and the weight is substantial. For a display this thing looks mighty impressive. If I were more of a Vader Collector I'd keep this, but I'm selling it in the Junkyard.
Even the lights and breathing/soundboard are really good. The breathing has 3 different settings. Normal, slow (ripped right from Empire as Luke enters the carbon freeze chamber) and fast. The chest box has a breathing sound effect that can be switched on or off and the set comes with a second small soundbox for discreet hiding on the costume.

Yes it's the very same. I'm selling my set in the Junkyard. It's awesome but I'm finding I'm not much of a Vader Collector.
Sorry I was confused I thought there was 2 versions, a standard and “exclusive” the “vault exclusive” is the only option right? Or am I missing something

I did a little research on the helmet before I bought it, and currently the helmet isn't acceptable for 501st membership, nor is the complete costume. So if the goal is to join the 501st you probably want to do some homework on that. If the goal is just to have a very nice Vader costume, this could definitely be an option. Personally I love the helmet especially for the price!

I appreciate it, I don’t plan on joining, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want something nice
My goal is to grab this suit, and slowly upgrade piece by piece down the road
Appreciate the confirmation with the 501st though
