I'm the same waist so i might keep it one piece....but i noticed that it has a pin or something coming out on the torso right on to of shoulder..like it opens upward like a clam...that's all i can compare it to..lol..like the pictureI was able to keep my torso in one piece @ 393.5, but I am also a wiry guy with a 32" waist. I could just slip into it. A couple of us had talked about running extra strips on each side (paper build), but I never heard any more about it after that.

Thanks everyone for the comments!
Using 3/8 foam for everything is becoming quite the challenge. next time around i think i will go 1/4.
has anyone found a good spot to put Chicago screw in the knees?
I used the bottlecap design on my MkVII arms and it did well. Worked well on my War Machine too. Tried it on the legs of the War Machine: Fail. I'm using styrene and Chicago Screws on the arm hinges for the Iron Patriot and the Mk42. The bottles didn't seem to "flow" as well in those 2 suits
hmmmmm as for the knee topic. .here's mine, i'm using a two point articulation here. . .almost the same concept of a two point hinge . .i'll be using this also to my IP later on

I watched that vid last night; I was a bit bummed I didn't see it before I made mine, so, on my next one, I'm "stealing" your kick ass design. LOVE how the knee articulates!
