Don't go by that chart, it isn't necessarily correct. It might give you a bit of a starting point but you're better off using the 'Point to Point Measuring' tool in Pepakura Designer.

AAARRRGGGHHH!!! What am I missing? I have Designer 3 and cannot find "Point to Point" anywhere! HEELLLLLPPP me, please!

this is just the same color blue eva foam 6mm thickness
i search that acrylic emulsion then epoxy primer then paint is the best with foam

Finaly got to paint the suit .. On tight budget I when for war machine sceme.. Just wanna check.. Does anyone used the "pva" glue method to seal the foam? How the suit last?

Sorry for the late reply on this. I used the scale of 340.000 each part [except the abs]. I'm 5'6.5" tall not sure on the weight. :lol

dunno if its just local, but harbor freight has a sale on the fatigue mats for $7 each, i grabbed 4 packs! total $35 for 16 sheets! 10mm tho.

grabbed a $19 black ink cartridge, picked up some glue sticks, and a few 6mm/3mm foam sheets from another craft store.. im ready to rock.

I have a weird scaling question.

When scaling the files for using foam, do you have to account for the thickness of the foam you are using by adding that thickness of the foam to the thickness of the model in the pep files?

Say I am using 1/2 inch foam, and i am making the hands form this, when you measure from point to point say around the wrist, do i make the template i am printing a 1/2 inch bigger in scale to account for the foam thickness?

That's a great question! Maybe scale up the palm section so it's 1" bigger in diameter around the wrist opening (compared to your wrist). It's some stupid number crunching (variable diameter), if you want to give me your wrist circumference I'll get you a scale.

It's coming along, that's what I'm working on right now I'll try and get some pics posted later. I had to scrap my first boots, it looked like Ultron was wearing Chuck Taylors :behave

ok here are two measurements i took. Was not sure if you wanted my hand relaxed or fingers together.

Relaxed: 5 inches

Fingers Together: 4.5 inches
