Alright Jackie, your model is great and all. But holy heck was it a pain to unfold! I finally started work on the mini Patriot. As I said, I took your model and scaled it in blender to fit him, then exported it and unfolded it. It took me about 3 hours just to in fold the dang thing! SO MUCH DETAIL! haha. :lol I'll upload some pics after I get it built. I![]()

^^^ FYI pretty sure Helagak sized this suit specifically for his child, so the files won't do you any good unless you want to clone his kid
Here's the template for the cannon base mount in Pepakura. It includes an inner plate, outer plate, and suit track template for aligning mounting hole(s). The plates are individually sized to fit flush. The file is at default scale, so it will need to be set to your torso scale to fit.
**These are only templates for a secure mounting base. The templates will require trimmed or resized depending on your build.**
I am securing my inner and outer plates together with smooth-head machine bolts topped with wing nuts. I am also installing gaskets between the plates and the suit to prevent damaging the torso paint.
Here are pics and the file link if anyone wants to use these for their project:

However, if/when i make this suit, i think ill try Quovadis' method, because it just looks so smooth and awesome:thumbsup
