ok, so not sure if im doing something wrong here, but when i put in the scale factor i get this error,

Specity 1- 2000 for assembled size? I put in 393.5 in the scale box.

Ladman, I was thinking kind of the same thing (about the oval-circle build).

You might as well scale at 393.5 too lol. I am 6'2" and have built Jackie's files for me at this scale and they work good (see pics). As an added bonus, anything Teragon and I modify or design for our suits should interchange on another 393.5. It'll be an Iron Patriot army...

I finished up my IP helmet yesterday using a 0.941 scale factor (20cm wide) and it's too big I adjusted it as I was using 10mm foam so I added 2cm to the width to account for the foam thickness...Turns out I probably didn't need to do that lol...Going to readjust the scale back to normal and try that, but out of curiosity, what scale did you guys use for your helmets? Did you leave it what it was?

Trying to figure out how the neck piece attaches to the helmet. Here is what i have thrown together real quick to see how the scale would be to me and check for movement. is this accurate?

Laellee, Ladman, and Teragon- I see what you all mean about the neck shape. But i think in foam is the ideal medium for it. Since the neck is not round and they cannot rotate amongst each other, they kinda cheated in the movie by casting the neck pieces and other flexible parts in rubber, for more movement. You could do either one

By the way I'm almost done with the arc reactor, and it costs about 15$ to get it printed so not too expensive. I'll post the file when I'm done.

I modified all scales to 392,733 (175 cm) and the values ​​are completely unpacked. is too broad chest and shoulders too small for me.:angry:angry:angry

It's in the 2D menu normally, set scale then specify scale of development I think.

Hey folks just another quick question. The lights for the helmet, arc, repulsers they are white this time around. Because on some pics of the war machine it's a little hard to tell. Thanx... GM

I think the eyes are red-ish, they have a red glow even if they are white in the center of the lenses, but the arc is white. Can't tell for the repulsors but my guess would be white too.

Yeah i agree. Almost like there is a reflective red trim that i cannot see and is giving a reddish hue around the eye itself. On another note, i've been playing with colour to match the blue. Duplicolor chrome base with candi blue, chrome base with black chrome then blue...GM

For the neck i just picked up a metallic blue relatively close at my local auto shop, close enough, but for the red, it almost looks like my captain america shield, raw aluminum painted with duple-color anodised red, so I wonder if I should give it a try with a first coat of chrome or aluminum paint, then a coat of the dupli anodised. But I wouldn't want to waste it, it costed me an arm to get these cans since they aren't available in europe at all. Shipping pressurised can from the us are expensive, I assure you.

i havent started on the suit yet, still working on the helmet.
but i need to get going asap. may and june will be here in no time.

I did a sample on two sides of a plate, but the pics came out shoddy. So i will do a side by side pic in natural light will post later after work... GM

i did that, but it was on the helmet that Jackieisrockin did. i guess the helmet files have to be trial and error. it did work on all the other pieces. quick question, i have hand and foot files from Zabana, these files are a smaller scale factor by default just like the helmets. for examble the default scale factor on the boot is 23.00. 395.5 will blow it way out of proportion. i'm guessing that the hands, boot, and helmet are trial and error for scale?

they still look red to me. maybe not as red as the warmachine in IM2, but they are still red.

I posted a scale chart a few posts back, it should have the scale factor you need. just find your size and put that scale value in.

If anyone has ever had trouble trying to figure out how to get the fingers for your hand to go together and move as if they are jointed. i found this video on using zip ties to get that effect.

yea, i noticed this red tint as well.
im wondering if the lenses are actually a red tint, but with a very bright white led set behind them. that red at the edges makes me think theyre tinted

that also is a possibility. probably could get away with a red tinted lens and white led light behind them.
