I've released my Ark of the Covenant 3d Files

Thank you. That's the one social media account I don't have. Lol
A lot of people on the RPF don't, and I wholly support that lol. If I didn't have a business page to manage on there, I would have happily walked from it a while ago.

I did look in the group, someone said he posted in the group about a PDF with where they were, but that was 30 weeks ago lol.

***Glad you found them! It's hilarious to watch the build crossovers going straight from motorized R2 to the Ark lol***

Glad you found them. Baddeley is at Celebration Japan right now so it might have been a bit before he answered.

Also, I love seeing people print the Ark. Good luck.

Thank you for your help kind sir.

With my kits long sold out, I've been looking for a way to release the 3D files for it so people could print and build their own. I had asked Bruce Lee, who did the original 3D model of the Ark for me, to prepare the files so they could be printed, as well as a legend of the parts.

My original kit build instructions thread here: Building an Ark of the Covenant from our kit

As an active R2 builder and parts provider to the community, I've been aware of the Baddeley R2 3D print community for some time. At Star Wars Celebration last week I had a chance to meet Michael Baddeley to discuss providing him the files so we could make them available.

I have done so now, and am excited to see builders take the project on.

You can find out about it here:

https:://www.facebook.com/groups/mrbaddeley

You'll have access to the files by joining his Patreon.

First print begins now! I've been wanting this, all my life!

Beware! If anybody prints the bottom part of the legs Bambu didn't tell me to add supports, and im getting a little bit of a string defect under that bottom lip. Hopefully i can sand it or rotate the defect to the inside where you won't see it.

It took some major doing seeing as I am computer illiterate lol. But I was able to finally find them via my phone. Thanks for reaching out, and thank you immensely for putting in all this work. This will be a dream come true.

Did some small pieces over night, and did middle leg sections today that just finished but Im at work. FYI using my P1S I had to cut the middle leg sections in half to get them to fit. So the legs being 3 sections will now become 4 separate pieces. Hmm... what to print when I get off in 2 hours? The possibilities are endless because like I said it's 104 pieces. Lol. Onward, and upward!

Thanks for making these available Rebelscum , I joined Michael’s Patreon.
Not sure when I would get around to attempt to build the Ark, but it’s nice knowing I have the files to do so!

Would the files be suitable to scaling, if say I wanted to drillbuild a smaller version of the Ark, and would you have any suggestions for a good scale?
Did you find the files on badeleys Patreon drive? I can’t seem to find them there
