How did I miss this thread, I really don't see how you made those details and lines with just that rusty looking file. Amazing skills and details.

That is just beautiful man! It has inspired me for my next helmet build as going to take the pep route rather than foam to plastic then remould for the final cast. I have learned a lot watching your build and am going to implement some of the techniques you used to make some of my MK VI helmet parts more symmetrical.

Yup Bondo skills makes A LOT of difference. Plus he's pinoy so I'm not surprised with the skills. You should go to the Philippines and go to any auto body repair shop. Your freaking mind will be blown.

Does this come with a separated faceplate and backplate as well? or just a 1pc slip on helmet?

I've not seen any shots from the new movie of the face plate opened, does the IP helmet faceplate articulate the same way as the mk IV and VI?

Rodson that is some nice clean work there buddy and it goes to show that a well finished pep can rival a 3d printed part for detail IMO, good eye on the mesh on the inner cheek inset, we were wondering if anyone else had seen it
