Ironman symbiote WIP

Whoever you found to do the airbrushing, keep their number. That looks awesome.

I'm really digging this whole concept, too. Do you plan to do anything out of the ordinary for the paint job on the body, like giving it some kind of organic texture?

BAD AZZ Man "O"! Love it!! I have thought of doing a Spiderman/Ironman Suit for the past few months now, I've never done anything like it before. I think I'm gonna wait to see how you did yours first and learn........

this guy is gonna do some more work to the suit for sure. As far as he paint job I was thinking of just doing a basic paint job but with a variety of colors. Being it's an armored suit, I would imagine it wouldn't make ironman too much different. I would like to do something organic though. Just don't have any ideas. So if I still don't have any ideas by the time it's ready to paint I'll just to something basic

View attachment 310256[/QUOTE. Thank you! Iron spider would be pretty sweet. I would start working on pepping an ironman suit then later give it a twist

idea for paint...
you could get some material cut it up and stretch over suit like symbiote tendils( you could add tendrils by using wire wrapped in tape or fabric then paint so they are poseable) then paint metallic colors ( pearlescent and or iridescent black would be cool) ...
fabric and metallic paints over your ironman suit with a couple or alot of tendrils would be sweet..you can make shapes and tendrils etc with latex , wire and tape
just an idea..lol
great work look forward to seeing what you come up with

Where could I get pearlescent and or iridescent black at? Instead of stretching material over the suit I thought about just having the bondo applied with a rough finish instead of smoothing it out. Giving that "layer" of goop over the iron. For tendils what kinda wire would you recommend exactly? I'm not even sure where I could put them

Or bondo and a lot of plastic dip over spray kinda running down the suit

you can get irridescent medium at any art store and add to any acrylic paint. or the auto section of hardware store. latex and fabric is how i did my skin and you get very organic looking stuff. experiment on scrape piece first(general rule) and see if you like..bondo works too ...dpends on look tour going for bondo will look "sharper" unless you sand it. you can do combo and add tendens joining pieces together .lie na symbiote exoskeleton over ironman.
color ....i see alot of black and white designs for ironman symbiote but some ironman color in there would be cool.solar yellow, candy apple(metallic red) and jet gloss black...come up with a pattern scheme using spiderman , venom and ironman to mash them up. metallic colors and irridesence would make it look like a crazy beetle looking thing which is how i picture a ironman /venom hybrid....glowing yellow venom emblem but sharpe and industrial looking..
im rambling..lol im sure whatever you do will look amazing ..it looks awesome so far, but if you like what i said i can sketch something up for you and the tendril details??
goodluck and have fun

Man if you don't mind. I'd like to see what your thinking sketched up. You got me thinking! Lol. I thought about doing some sections showing ironman colors as in the symbiote not competely covering the suit. Man my mind is in a storm of thoughts.

yeah i hear ya. indecision is a bitch ,and is like writers block to us...lol im finishing my final venom paint today but will gladly draw something for you this week. when im stuck ill do some small experiments with different ideas and usually find path very quickly we have to keep moving ...like a shark baby...lol
i like the idea of ironman showing through...you would think the symbiote would avoid the business end of the repulsars..? so thats a start have symbiote over body like an extra layer of exosuit creating tendons around joints but more open areas around the repulsars..? sound(superhero) logical..what do you think.

Ive accidently come up with a way to get that organic/extra later of skin look. I'm not even gonna apply bondo to the suit, maybe a little, but not alot. So I'm gonna take fiberglass mat strands and just spread it all across the surface with resin. Like I've been doing to harden it. Then spray it over with plasti dip. Then add my colors later. But this is the result I should get when im done.

thats what bob ross would call a happy accident..looks cool ,paint it up and see what it looks like. i owe you couple sketches ..took weekend off venom burnt me out ..lol
be care the sharp fiber glass though you could coat with latex if plastidip doesnt work...or rock guard (black) is nice too
